It’s pretty much exactly this. Being unemployed basically just signals you’re unstable or cant provide, both of which are a red flag. I know a guy who did something similar to OP. His mom died when he was 25 and he collected maybe 100K in inheritance. He quit his job and moved to a big city. And his dating/sex life didn’t get any better. Girls would talk to him but he’d either get friendzoned or they’d lose interest at this point. The only one I know of that slept with him was equally as crazy, …

I don’t even see why this is downvoted. If I was 35 and a virgin this would be the best option. Just pay for a good experience and get it over with. You’ll probably get a confidence boost from it and also realize that having sex once didn’t change your life. Don’t need to quit your job for that.

How much Adderall did you take… 6 paragraphs…. Really?

Dude you don’t need to go to Japan to find that out. If you’re 35 and a virgin then honestly just hire a hooker or hit up a Chinese spa place for $300 tops. You’ll quickly find out that having sex doesn’t change you forever.

Being unemployed is possibly the most unattractive thing to a woman unless you’re a multi millionaire

Exactly. My rule of thumb is just don’t even think about height period. Does waaaay more harm than anything.

lol yep. Any woman who will only date men based on arbitrary criteria was never worth my time anyway.

I don’t know if you need to hear this, but the more you focus on height, the worse off you are. Sure there’s height queens that won’t want anything to do with ya. I’m 5’7” so I’ve seen it myself. The bottom line is women want to see a guy who is confident or doesn’t give a shit about their height. So if she’s giving you the time of day, don’t mention it, even if it’s an insecurity. Only time I bring it up is if I’m making a joke about myself after I’ve already gotten to know someone.

This alone is going to put you in the upper half of guys she’s been with. Tons of guys completely skip on eating her out, and just wanna stick it in. If you focus on her and don’t even say a word about your dick it’s going to go a long way. All women are different but if you can make her cum 1-5 times before you have sex she probably won’t give a shit how long you last.

I don’t think you’ll like my answer, but from a mid 20s male perspective, here it is: In American culture, men are pretty regularly the ones initiating and approaching women. Men, generally speaking, have much lower standards than women. Men would be willing to date a decently large portion of women. Women, on the other hand, would be willing to date a much smaller percentage of men. Men are seldom hit on. If an average looking woman were to go to a bar/club, there’s a very solid chance she’ll b…

Cardio does matter in terms of the overall equation of calories and how much you’re burning. Generally though, most people aren’t doing enough for it to be a substantial difference.

Yeah the replies in here are actually delusional lol. I would just roll with it and have fun unless she’s showing a bunch of signs of disinterest. Remember, the average woman has almost no trouble getting laid. Guys for sex are pretty disposable for them. For men, women are harder to come by, and we often place a lot more importance on those showing interest. If you genuinely think a woman would rather spend her birthday with a fuck buddy of two weeks over a group of lifelong friends, I have a b…

Also another thing whilst we was on the date she said she's never been in a serious relationship and she blocks guys very very quick she said if i didn't message her yesterday morning to see if the date was going ahead and messaged her at 3pm or so she would have not responded and blocked me Run. Apps have more men than women, and the average woman is about 10x as selective as the average man.
/r/seduction09/09/25 06:01 AM
23

The brutally honest truth. My best friend has two sisters who are solidly average looking and both have 1000+ likes/matches on dating apps. He is 6’4”, decently attractive, and is struggling to get 10+. Even outside the apps, most women have a bunch of options (or could find several if they don’t). I don’t think you can understate the sheer level of options even a below average woman has.

Judge by actions, not by words. Girls say all sorts of random shit that’s the exact opposite of what they’re doing. Also, being a nice guy doesn’t make you entitled to a girlfriend. Not saying you’re acting that way but it’s a slippery slope toward that mentality.

I want to emphasize this comment. Take the advice from the guys in the thread, not the girls. Women very much like to communicate with subtlety or drop hints. Even good, witty, flirtatious men have trouble picking up on said hints. Honestly don’t be afraid to be direct with him - if he likes you it’ll make everything a hell of a lot easier for everyone.

Couldn’t agree more with you! Anyone who’s played the game has been rejected probably 10x more than they’ve succeeded. I actually think to a degree rejection is good for you so that you’re not stacking all your eggs in one basket or getting one-itis.
/r/seduction05/08/25 03:42 PM

Any girl being honest with you will tell you that. As I’ve always said, looks get you in the door, charisma/charm is what keeps you inside. I have a friend who is 6’5”, decently attractive but is socially awkward and can’t charm to save his life. He will literally get approached by women who will lose their interest in 10 seconds. Nobody would be approaching him if he looked like shit. The bottom line is you need to at least look good before you flirt.

‘Pretty privilege’ is 1000000% real. Anyone who has lost significant weight will agree. The most honest advice I ever received from a female friend was something along the lines of “women are superficial” and she was spot fucking on.

Somewhere in the middle is where you want to be. Girls are hesitant about guys who are virgins or are unable to attract women, but at the same time they don’t want a guy who’s banged everyone in town. I read once there was a survey that showed women seeing 7 past partners as a sweet spot for men, though I have no idea where the number came from.

Yeah don’t take anything relating to dating apps to heart. I had some success with them years ago but nowadays the apps are so cooked, below average women have hundreds of options. Unless you’re very good looking and have a great text game, your odds are next to none on these apps - You’re literally one among hundreds/thousands of men competing for one girl. Go out to a bar or club and approach. If you’re relatively good looking and charismatic your odds are way higher than they would be on an a…

To add, I’m pretty sure they give you some kind of boost when you first start. So you get a couple matches and get hooked. Then boom, you have none, and you’re probably more willing to pay to chase that dopamine hit of getting a match again.

Biologically, women can’t hold alcohol the way that men can. It takes less for a woman to get drunk and they almost always weigh a lot less. I’ve partied a lot over the years and women usually drink until they vomit much more often than men. The story does seem a little weird considering how quick she goes from a little drunk totally wasted but I wouldn’t necessarily assume the worst.

Dude, you did the right thing. Actions like this speak pretty loud and assuming she wants to go out again she’ll hopefully see you as a gentleman or someone safe. If she doesn’t hold interest, you still did the right thing, and this situation didn’t affect it. Worst I see happening is she gets embarrassed or self conscious.

This thread’s full of older men wanting to fuck 20 year olds lmao. Yes it’s a decent age gap. It’s legal but there’s a massive difference in life experiences. 25 and 32 would not be that weird but 20 isn’t even old enough to have finished college.

From what I understand with most things, you should be doing things because YOU want to or because YOU enjoy it, not just to attract women. You should look at that part as an added bonus. A woman’s going to be way more interested in a guy doing something and enjoying himself than a guy who’s only doing something to pickup.

I’m sorry dude but you handled this pretty awfully. You lost your cool with her and if she wasn’t interested earlier she certainly isn’t now. I would’ve basically just said bye and let her chase me if she wanted to.

You absolutely stand a chance. I know a girl who was quite hot, was in a sorority and everything. Is currently dating a guy with two artificial legs. If your disability is more in the visible side the good news is it will probably weed out all the people who aren’t interested.

I pretty much agree. I would just get bored bullshitting with a girl for 5 straight years like this. It's possible to have fun with someone but also have normal conversations.
/r/seduction08/06/25 01:17 AM
6

Nope I 100% agree and learned this the hard and long way with a year long girlfriend when I was 23. Lived with her parents which wasn’t inherently a problem to me but they were a very cultural Asian family so to speak and it just felt like I was never going to be her priority, even if we moved in together. You gotta be able to have AT LEAST a few hours a week if you’re looking for something more meaningful. I mean I’ve had longer conversations on the phone than that lol.
/r/seduction06/06/25 10:49 PM
55

Pretty much exactly this. Once you date more you will pick up on interest very easily. A girl who is interested in you will answer your questions with detail, give you something to work with/respond to, will keep the conversation flowing, and show enthusiasm. If you’re texting her, her responses will be quicker, like the way you might text your buddies. A girl who is uninterested will give short answers, not engage much, or show an indifference - A LOT of this is conveyed through the body langua…
/r/seduction06/06/25 09:16 PM
4

Nope absolutely. I have a friend who’s 6’5” so naturally he gets a lot of looks. But voila he can’t hold a conversation with a stranger to save his life. Not disagreeing with the latter half, though I don’t think it’s an absolute barrier to entry, just depends on the woman or type of woman you’re going after.
/r/seduction06/06/25 07:17 PM
37

Agree with this. As a baseline, be as physically attractive as possible. But just generally don’t be a douchebag. There are tons of attractive guys that have no personality. Be memorable, have unique hobbies, a sense of humor, and the ability to laugh at yourself. You can be manly but honestly I feel like being yourself goes far for a lot of girls who aren’t playing the game.
/r/seduction06/06/25 05:17 PM
11

Agree with this so much. The difference between being normal vs creepy often boils down to being able to read the room and understand someone’s body language. And a lot of it starts before you even talk to them. A coffee shop plus headphones is a like a flashing signal to not approach someone.
/r/seduction06/06/25 07:01 AM
5

I think this is the best approach. Not all service workers want to be hit on or approached at work, especially where they can’t leave a situation if it’s uncomfortable. Leaving your number is a little less direct but a pretty low pressure way of showing interest. If they are interested enough they’ll reach out.
/r/seduction02/06/25 03:36 PM
1

I think I probably did it because I haven’t updated mine in a while other than today and I lost more than 30lbs since the last time I did. I also only post about once a year.
/r/seduction01/06/25 10:13 PM

Agreed. Literally who knows what the case is. Just send one text and if she replies then great and if she doesn’t then you have your answer.
/r/seduction30/05/25 09:05 PM
6

I’m a guy and I agree. You want photos that show WHO you are. Anything that tells a story or involves hobbies, pets, travel, or you enjoying yourself is going to go so much further than just a pic of you in your bathroom mirror. My guy friends think that the bio and interests matter a ton but as I always say, your appearance is going to be what gets you in the door and makes the ladies scroll to those.

Agreed I don’t know why people are arguing against this. The three things you listed are probably gonna help build attraction much more than hiring a dude. Speaking as someone who lost 30lbs this year - a better and cleaner bod is going to get you in the door which sometimes is half the battle.

Just own it, don’t bring it up, and if it does get mentioned, be able to laugh at yourself. I mean Messi is basically the most famous fucking guy in the world and he’s 5’7”.
/r/seduction06/05/25 05:41 PM
1

Gotta go with this. If a girl is very into you, you can be as lame or dumb as possible and she won’t care. Ultimately when friends come to me for advice on what to text women I just tell them not to overthink because if she’s truly invested it’s not going to matter much.
/r/seduction06/05/25 02:03 PM
8

I’m gonna break it to you bro. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s texting 5-10 other guys. Have an abundance mindset. Never put all your eggs in one basket. I always have idealized people and gotten attached quickly, which is the opposite of what you want to do. It’s a lesson I’m still trying to learn.
/r/seduction02/05/25 09:43 PM
3

This is the bottom line. Ask her when it’s opportune sooner or later. I usually give it two asks to make plans (unless she offers an alternative) before I’m out the door.
/r/seduction02/05/25 08:20 PM
11

Work problems are rarely a trauma dump in my experience… And I generally attract crazy women. Genuine trauma dump is more along the lines of childhood problems, abuse, family issues, unnecessarily bringing up people from her past, you get the idea. If it’s little vents I’d see it as more of a green flag and a potential sign of trust. On the flip side of that coin, I’ve met some women who will just complain about anything to any guy who gives them a minute of their time.

And equally if not more importantly focus on your confidence, charisma, and people skills. This is just a good principle to understand in general. If you worked in sales you wouldn’t just wait around for people to call you. When I was in college I was in a frat and we would always be trying to recruit guys, many of whom were on the fence about joining. On my first day doing recruiting, an older guy taught me to NEVER give out my number. Fellow guy with the same kink, this is the way. Enthusiasm and focusing on her go a long way, from girls I’ve talked to you’d be shocked how many guys outright refuse to do any kind of head or foreplay.

For sure. I think the biggest thing myself and a lot of guys struggle with is that they can be totally charismatic towards guys or with their friends. But all of a sudden they talk to someone of the opposite sex and all conversation skills go out the window. So the challenge is really just getting over that mental block.
/r/seduction20/04/25 04:20 PM

The average woman is just about overloaded with men to choose from between real life, social media, and dating apps. They've had the abundance mindset for a while, and there's a very good chance she's talking to many guys. To your last point, I have a decent looking friend, 6'4", average male dating profile. This guy had gotten maybe a match or two a week with online dating. His sister is about 29, average looking and had over 1000 in one year.

This. If you’re looking to meet women, knowing women is a good first step. Women knowing and seeing you have normal and positive interactions with other women is going to be an automatic green flag. Here’s the second part—my results: In five years, I’ve gone on dates with only three girls. One was great, no complaints, but I know she chose another guy from a dating app over me—that’s just how it goes, right? The other two girls were nice, but their profile photos were much better than they looked in real life. One of them was probably 30 pounds heavier than her pictures suggested. Focus on whatever is the root cause of this. 3 dates in 5 years is almost nothing.

And height is just one of the many doors that can help a guy in. If you actually read this sub you’ll learn that while, yes, you should be attractive, there is a lot more to the game.

Agreed, height ONLY gets you in the door, nothing more. I have a good friend who should be like a case study on this subject. He’s probably 6’4”, if not more. Easily the tallest guy in like 90% of places he goes. Not muscular but a healthy weight, and relatively clean cut. His problem is that he’s socially awkward and has almost no confidence. He gets a few extra looks from women, occasionally one will come up to him, but he cannot be seductive or interesting to save his life, and most interacti…

I think guys are conditioned to masturbate in silence growing up (in fear of getting caught) or won’t moan in fear of looking submissive or something. In my experience every girl I have ever been with liked a guy who moans. I mean, think of it this way - A guy would be uncomfortable or worried if a girl didn’t make any noise at all during sex or foreplay. Why wouldn’t it be the same the other way around lol.

Truthfully it can be hard to figure it out, especially if you barely know what they like. Usually stuff like “I can’t wait to be inside you”, or “I can’t wait to X”, or “you like that” work well for me. Sometimes I throw in something like “I love how wet you get for me” - maybe that’s too intimate, I don’t know. It’s a little awkward and to be honest it’s much easier in a long term relationship when you know what your girl likes. My long term ex wanted to be degraded and called a slut, whore, or…

Right? There are ways to make yourself more attractive and interesting but ultimately you gotta be yourself for someone to fall in love with you lol

It’s actually unbelievable how dumb some guys can be. Showering/hygiene/breath should be second nature and not something you even have to think about. If you can’t get this fundamental down I have bad news for you. OP should take this historic fumble to heart and get it down.

This one works a lot better if you're attractive or charismatic but I have seen it work.

Some NBA player said "I’d rather go 0-30 than go 0-9. You go 0-9 that means you stopped shooting. That means you lost confidence."

Honestly I do agree, though it really varies from case to case. I think he probably could've had sex that night if he escalated. A ton of women would call him an idiot and feel blue balled because he wouldn't take the lead. But there's plenty of women who don't want immediate sex and would think he's chivalrous or whatever for not escalating. OP, I'm assuming you have her number, go ahead and set up another date. Worst that happens is she ghosts you.

This guy gets it. If they were already making out and she was grabbing his dick, then he had the green lights to go and kiss her neck. Another little tip is to whisper some dirty stuff in her ears in between kissing her neck. In my experience this drives women crazy. I've basically had them rip off MY clothes from that alone lol. What I've learned is that women are tired of guys who want to fuck or do foreplay in complete silence. Don't be afraid to talk sexy with her or let out a little moan if…

OP must have autism at a bare minimum. HOW DO YOU NOT SHOWER BEFORE YOU GET INVITED FOR A BOOTY CALL? It takes 10 minutes max and tbh you should just make it a habit shower every day. I know some say it’ll fuck up your skin or hair but I sweat in my sleep so I’d rather just shower every day. I thought she had cold feet or something but this was all OP’s fault.

Dude like 95% of women think Warhammer is a virgin activity. I’m glad you found pussy in it but the vast majority of people on average circles won’t.

Literally more than 3 and it's a challenge. A couple I know like to talk on the phone after work sometimes and it's hard dealing with any more than 2 or 3.

That’s one that got mentioned in the poll so that’s why I included it. Certainly less bad than the others. My experience is the girls into degens are great but are a dime a dozen and often have a whole host of problems.

Agreed, it’s not inherently a shit test but for the love of god you have to give off moderately interesting and/or unique hobbies/activities. I always tell girls that I go to a lot of concerts and then casually mention I went to 24 of them last year (which is true). Always brings out a surprised reaction and elicits conversation about music. I said this to someone earlier today, DO NOT mention any of the following: video games, D&D or anything remotely similar, gambling, excessive drug/alcohol u…

Dancing is a great hobby because let’s be real, if you took a class it’s likely to be female dominated or have some gay guys in it. Leaving a bunch of women to get to know. Guy I know met his current girlfriend through a weekly pottery class he signed up for. There were like 14 people in it, 12 women and 2 men. Remember, a bunch of guys would freak out and run if they were in the minority like this - Instead of using it to their advantage.

Agreed. Don’t give up your hobbies for the ladies, but DO NOT mention Warhammer, D&D, video games, gambling, or excessive drug/alcohol use as a hobby (fine wine or something might be an exception) right off the bat. Polling shows that these are basically the most unattractive hobbies to women. Get her to like you before you bring up any of these.

Not even just on dating apps. Women who post something remotely related to sex on Reddit get flooded with DMs. I used to play video games with an ex and no joke, if she said one word in voice chat, she would get 5+ friend requests. Yet half the people who do these things will run and make any excuse to not approach a woman in real life lol. I’m kind of a firm believer that just talking to people irl (in a normal way) sets you apart from 90% of the crowd.

How much actually science/psychology is there to hormonal cycles versus pseudoscience bullshit? Obviously excluding an actual period and related symptoms. My ex used to always claim she was acting a certain way due to being in X phase of her cycle, but I wasn’t sure if this is a real thing or just an internet thing.

How many stories have you heard of a guy getting retroactive jealousy or hurt feelings after finding out his girlfriend slept with another guy (if not more) when they were in the talking/hooking up phase? Now, how many times have you heard that story from the female perspective? Probably not many. The reality of modern dating, like OP said, is that women have a literal overload of options. My buddy’s sister is 27, average looking, and had (literally) over a thousand bumble matches in one year. H…

Spot on and something I wish I knew when I was in college. Nothing wrong with taking interest but if you set yourself up thinking this girl is the one you’re gonna have a bad time. I’ve met plenty of women that sleep with a few guys before making it official with one.
