From the outside looking in, it seems like the ‘high school sweetheart’ thing is much bigger for you lot, which to me is weird cos we tend to accept that we’ll move on from this kind of relationship, but I suppose that’s cultural differences

Couldn’t I say ‘nope, just seems so’ to you though? Weird comment You don’t know much of the UK btw

As a Brit, it seems to me like Americans get married way way younger than Europeans

Misandrists can also be hateful towards other groups

Did you read the OP? Cos no one’s said they’re the same things. Men, women and trans can all have an interest in men’s rights

Who asked though?

Did we though? I disagree completely and I think you’re just seeing the past in a positive light. This isn’t new At all, I’m sorry it’s not getting through to you, I fear it won’t, but this behaviour is just human nature unfortunately. Every single person is self serving

No mate this is realism, it’s easy to look at the past with rose tinted spectacles but it’s not what it was really like. Give me a single year that you think was a good time, and I’ll tell you why it wasn’t. As I said, people aren’t nice to each other, it’s nothing new, let’s not pretend it is so we can do some doomsday preaching, eh?

In all times actually, humans are selfish creatures, it’s good you’ve finally realised but let’s not forget the countless wars fought out of greed, the amount of death a destruction born out of greed, people aren’t nice to each other and never have been If you’re correct in saying this behaviour isn’t present in ‘good times’, then there have never been good times

Yeah I’ve been told what I should’ve done a few times on this post, and whilst I know they mean well, it’s not as easy as they like to think. I genuinely believed I’d be killed if I did anything, I would probably at least have gotten a beating. I’m trying to do better but not in therapy just yet, things will get better though

I absolutely considered it and wrote the note a few times, but I thought I was going to be murdered in school so I’d also carry a note explaining everything and how I’m entirely innocent

See the issue was, it was like gang mentality and quite a few of them were known for being very very violent, so I worried if I beat up one, like I wanted to, I’d end up getting jumped by a gang and probably get some serious damage done, one kid got all his front teeth knocked out once for example

They were oblivious to it somehow, I’m not sure what they thought was going on in that period but they didn’t know about the abuse I was receiving

It almost certainly was an image of a minor, I just wish I had the mind to fight the accusations properly during the time, I would encourage teenagers in a similar situation to follow your advice though, if anything I was just too passive and allowed it to happen

I’m 23 now and long gone from all that thankfully, the main guy spreading the photo had to flee from the city due to issues with a drug dealer so I suppose there’s some justice. I wish I pushed to get it stopped but at that age, telling adults anything sexual was hard and it’s probably all long gone now. Obviously I’m left with the mental scars but hey ho. It’s just such a shame the police got involved and just left it, and that teachers just allowed it to happen. Thank you for your comment thou…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
