Probably an unpopular opinion but: Check out Owen Cook and Julien Blanc on YouTube. Maybe not your cup of tea, but they CHANGED MY LIFE. Basically, what they say is that personality is king. There are ugly looking guys that pull hot girls all the time. You’re probably not even ugly.

I heard somewhere (I think Naval Ravikant) that you should always pick the option that is the more uncomfortable in the short term. That’s usually the one that will ultimately benefit you the most. Your mind will want comfort over anything but you have to force yourself to do what will lead to the most growth over time

Really detailed response, thanks. You helped solidify in my mind that I should not go to NY. I guess if you’re ultra-rich (which recent college grads aren’t) it could be worth it. Otherwise, a college town like Austin filled with 20 somethings would be better for those non-outliers. Austin I’ve heard is becoming the new LA, with lots of drug addicts and rising prices. It’s a trade off though, and they have great food, nightlife, and opportunities with business

Maybe that makes me weird lol) On the topic of dating, I don’t know about you, but I went to a “party” school and wasn’t impressed by the girls I was meeting. Vaping, smoking, no goals, bland personality,etc. Maybe my standards are too high. Will I find what I’m looking for in Austin?

I appreciate the response man it’s pretty helpful. This girl is not my friend though. Long story short I went home because my college classes got cancelled so we never hooked up.
