Thanks a lot for your message. It helped me feel better. If you don't mind, would you share your experience, and how you did get past that ? Personally, it was not the "sexual performance" thing that's worrying me. It was more the... "Am I enough for her ? Considering that she had a partner a month for the past 4 years, will she get bored ?" thing that was worrying me (so the frequency). If she was 28 / 29 years old, I would not have been bothered (as much) by that, for example.

Yeah, I know. Like, rationally, I know she was being very honest with me. And that I could trust her. But it was just a bad gut feeling. Retroactive jealousy. It was kinda irational, that's why I'm asking for advice. I don't want it to be a factor in future relationships (and I don't really subscribe to redpill ideology). So it pisses me off to have that jealousy.

Don't think I'll be able to sleep with 50 girls, as an average male (I'm not bi)

I mean, I liked her a lot. We kinda trauma bonded though, which is not the most healthy. I have a lot of respect and empathy for her, but still couldn't get over it. The breakup happened 3 months ago (still, that wasn't the only factors, and there was bright red flags). I'm not a prude, that's why I'm so bothered by it. I have a body count of 12 myself, at 25 years old. I don't really want to seek sex for sex, though. I'm not super attractive and not really a "ladies man". Beside, I had one nigh…

What's a good way to get over retroactive jealousy ? Loved a girl, but couldn't get over her bodycount ( 50+ at 24 years old ). Broke up with her. It still messes with me a little.

Yep... That was actually my post you're talking about, I think. Still sad about that breakup, but... Well, that's life.

Yup, good catch

That's your opinion.

I mean, 5 is still not that "high", and you can do shitty decision in early adulthood. It's just me, but I won't disqualify both.

Number of sexual partner, usually defined by penis / vaginal intercourse

Again, depends on the age thoo. I might have a different reaction if someone is 50 at 20 or 50 at 45. Also, I think I saw studies there that linked n count to be inversionnal correlated to attractiveness?

I mean, you do you, but I'm not sure a very high notch man is a better prospect than an high notch woman.

Depends. Could be the right person, but if the other person has a hard limit on 10 n count, and the right person has a n count of 100, I could hardly see it work

Can relate. I broke up with my ex because she had 50+ n count at 24. Just couldn't stomach it. She was otherwise fine, and I liked her a lot. I just felt like another notch at her belt.

I wanted to try to be monogamous with her... So yeah

I mean, there were multiple red flags. But also a lot of very green one. That why it piss me of soooo much. The eating disorder / depression was fine, because well, she took responsibility for her mental health, and did do the necessary step to get better. But the promiscuity, man. Was very worried to be cucked at the end of the line.

Sadly, I went to that sub more in reaction to that event, trying to understand why the fuck it was bothering me soooo much. I don't want a virgin, I just want someone with what I would consider an normal amount at 25 (2 to 30 ?). 50 would be "fine", but at 30 years old. I tried to play the relationship a little bit, but I was feeling very very bad. Also, I felt she was getting more attached than I was, and I didn't want to make her suffer too much. Just tried to get over it, didn't worked.

I mean, FwB is cool, but I was beginning to fell for her. Also, it was obvious she also kinda wanted more, even if she didn't said it.

Yeah, I don't know... I trust her when she said she never cheated on someone. Still, it rubs me the wrong way. She's also friends with some of her ex. I don't know. It made me feel like I'm completely inexperienced compared to her, too, even though I'm "average" (I'm 12 n count myself at 25)

She told me, when we were FwB. She was the one starting the conversation, asking for my number.

Don't know. But she had eating disorders & depression at times.

Broke up with my ex over her n count (50 at 24 years old). I'm still pissed off because I genuinely liked her, and tried to get over it, but I had this weird, bad, gut feeling in my tummy. I feel very bad. I really liked her.

Yup. Reasons is also, I'm not against LTR her in the future, since the timing was just not right (also, she plan to live in my city later in life). We're not on bad term, since I never lied to her, and I helped her work through some traumas, even if we were just fwb. Considering the n number, it just feels... A little bit high. There's a bit of FOMO from my part, honestly, but at the same time, I had some one night stands, and well, felt more empty after than before. Drunkun one night stand is u…

I mean, I wasn't clear, but I was considering LTR her. That was bothering me in that context.

Please take my apologies, I see your point. Though, I mean, I would have tried a relationship with her if she was living in my city and if we were exclusive. I broke up because I didn't want to engage myself in a long distance open relationship. Again, sorry for my wordings. What I mean is that it's a factor I want to work on for futur relationship / LTR propect, because, in itself, it's a very dumb reason to be insecure.

It kinda come up naturally, she was the one talking about it. I was kinda considering LTR her.

I did not breakup with her because of that. I did breakup with her because : -;we are long distance. She comes in my city a week or two every few months. - She's gonna Travel in south america for one month, and the month after, I'll be travelling too. We're not gonna see eachother for a lot of time. - Long term, she wanted an open relationship. I'm quoting here there, but she " wanted an emotionnal connection with someone while still being free". I was not super confortable with that. N count wa…

Yeah, totally. I mean, that's why I'm posting here. I want to work on it, because I don't want it to impact other relationship in the future and passing on great girls for dumb reasons.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
