I’ve always wondered about this - if they’re having babies with the top 20% shouldn’t the majority of them get ample child support? On the other hand, many women doing this are having sex with multiple deadbeats which negates the idea that they are in the top 20%. If women on average are truly trying to mate with the top tier guys then why does our society have an epidemic of broke baby daddies in the bottom 50% of socioeconomic status?

I think society as a whole still shuns people who have casual sex without discussing consequences. Where in the past, it was the female who bore the negative consequences of pregnancy disproportionately. Now it is the male who gets to be a forced baby daddy. I wonder how that will morph genders over time. Imagine a future where males are more choosy with whom they sleep as result, while females are less discriminating? Wild!

This is a good question… for logical robots. I think this happens a lot, but women don’t think in terms of their own value, so you’re not going to get a normal answer. You’d be essentially getting a woman to admit she ruined her life. The most common scenario is the woman who dates around in her 20s, rejects a bunch of nice guys who would’ve been perfect husbands in favor of some bad boys, realizes the mistake in her 30s, only to find out most of the good guys she had rejected are taken, or don’…

Let me make this perfectly clear for guys because they keep complaining about this, and I admit it seems confusing, almost “dishonest”. It’s easy for a girl to have sex with a drop dead gorgeous guy who’s 10/10 in attractiveness, but not a good fit otherwise, aka a human dildo. Meanwhile the 7/10 guy needs to date and get to know the girl before we see him as 10/10 attractive because some of the attractive points must come from his personality. There is no strategy, there is no dishonesty. It is…

Same reason people don’t want to marry people with genetic diseases: high risk

Literally, the same points you listed off apply to men. Quality women are hugely turned off by dudes who are into casual sex. It’s gross. You also have zero respect for yourself if you risk diseases and 18 years of child support - at least the slightly smarter women can abort, but guys are literally rolling a dice with pregnancies. People should just match up their body counts: let virgins date virgins and let sluts date other sluts.

Not having sex with someone you just met is not a “strategy” the same way that not doing drugs is not a life hack. Regardless of your own opinion, it’s statistically better for one’s physical and mental health, and relationship long term if both parties wait. Side note, if all the women you are dating are people that you have to “tolerate,” I would suggest you try to find higher quality women, ie. ones that won’t f* on the first date.

You can definitely apply this analogy to dating. But not marriage and kids. Once kids are in the picture, you literally become each other’s best possible options by a mile (assuming your core values still match). If both partners throw themselves back into the dating pool after marriage and kids, their dating market values drop like a rock. So neither of them is getting “someone better” - they are getting someone else with their own baggage or someone willing to take on someone else’s baggage.

I’m a mildly autistic female. I love hyper analytical / rational guys, basically a mirror of myself. I recognize that this is a rare trait ie. being attracted to Asperger’sy nerds, so my dating pool before I got married was awesome. It was at least like a 10:1 guy:girl ratio in that category. I got to filter out exactly what I wanted. Here’s how you can stand out: 1) Optimized the basics: fitness, hair, skin, hygiene 2) Be genuinely kind and chivalrous to everyone around you (the bad boy thing d…

How is that a straw man? It’s literally zero benefit to me that 100 or 1 million guys want to have sex with me, unless I’m in the sex industry. I don’t want to have sex with anyone I’m not attached to. It would be exactly the same if a straight dude went on a gay app and also had a million likes and dudes wanting to f* him. So? What a privilege.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
