It depends on the venue. It was ok in a "real" bar, but other locations (more food oriented), we were just viewed as the "help".

When you get older, you will understand. It is fun to screw around, but later you will think bigger. You will want to build a family. You will want to be able to die in bed with your children and grandchildren surrounding you and to feel the pride in knowing that they are all a product of your efforts and that you will have a positive effect on the world long after your death. I don't disagree that it is hard to find/train the right partner, but just think of it as the ultimate challenge.

I'll forgo advice, but give you a story. I was in the Army, stationed in Germany, and there was an E5 with a crazy wife. The CO decided he wanted her gone and, within the week, she was on a plane to the states. Let your chain of command know what's going on first.
