I passed her a few times at the end of sophomore year (last year) but thought nothing of it. Few months went by and I decided i wanted to meet her. 1st semester of junior year, i found out she was abroad. 2nd semester (this semester) i waited a few weeks, hoping to pass her in person and talk to her. Never happened. So i followed her on IG, and she followed me back. Waited a few more weeks, hoping to pass her and didn't. I also tried to find mutual friends but that didn't work. Now with this vir…

Im in shape with shirt on. Having lost a bit of weight fairly quickly, I am a little bit flabby, despite having a 4 pack and noticeable arm veins. Definitely not into shirtless pics. You're right though, I shouldn't be fixated on any one girl. For whatever reason, I just find that im not attracted to or compatible with a lot of girls. Even though I'm of legal age, ive never once had a sip of alcohol in my life. Just not into it. I think the reason i get fixated is because i find these decent loo…

Didn't want to, but my school just got shut down because of the virus and i was not willing to wait like 5 more months until next semester to continue pursuing this

Where are you meeting these girls?

Really great advice. Thank you. All three things are spot on. I think ive been clouded and had a hard time seeing all of this, but reading your response its pretty clear. I definitely have the tendency to wait for fear of messing up. As far as what i had been talking about with the girl for months, just random stuff. We took the train together and sat next to each other a few times a week and made small talk. I got her number the day I met her and made a move. Didn't work so i just chatted with …

Yeah. I couldn't with this girl because she went abroad, but lesson learned for the future

Sorry, didn't get that last part. Your saying I SHOULD talk to her if i run into her? Or let it go?

You are right. Tbh while im not that shy and awkward, i definitely fly under the radar. I apologise if my op came across as entitled at all. Definitely not my intent, nor my normal way of thinking. I think this situation is forcing me to make up excuses for the outcome.

I agree with you. I have this thing where a lot of the girls I meet im just not into. Then i find that "one special girl" and fixate and plan. Then when it blows up in my face I start blaming myself.. And great advice. Ive actually been doing this a lot. I have no problem talking to girls. Ive actually had a few girls ask me out recently, just not ones who I am interested in. Seems as if everytime im interested in a girl, it blows up in my face. I probably should work on spontaneity....

Thanks for the reply! And yes, it makes sense. And yes, I unfortunately didn't have great interaction with either of the two. The one in hs was totally my fault. I was shy in awkward. The one in college was just unfortunate that I never had the chance to see her in person. I think part of my problem is I feel like because of all of the hard work ive put in, these girls should/will give me a chance. And then when they don't, I beat myself up for it. Definitely not the right way of thinking..

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
