Yeah it's a huge prediction. Men are terrified. My uncle never married nor had kids and he told me how lonely he's been his whole life and very scared to die alone.

Yeah my pop died 20 yrs before my nan. But was a veteran, worked around coal, asbestos, toxic fumes and gases. Like my nan didn't have it amazing but she wasn't fighting in a war and also working in a job that paid many ppl out because they died from long term exposure to hazardous substances. Plus I think infant mortality brings it down and male infants are not as strong.

Most people actually see dead relatives in the days leading up to/during death.

That I'd good, I'd hate my loved ones to be unable to experience joy because I died.

It might be that we have different algorithms, but on my instagram there's many pages of men with dad bods and hundreds of women in the comments saying they are drooling over them. I think you've confused dadbod for another term.

? Is this true? My dads short, my brother is a bit taller but still short and every guy I've dated has been under 6 foot. There's some shitty women who pick on men's height (just like some shitty men who pick on women's looks, actually my dad and brother both do this alot) but apart from that loud subset of women, most seem to be caring and understanding of men's struggle with being short.

What about dad bods? And it's more common for women's bodies to be fairgame for society to completely pick apart... not so much men.

No. When my mum calls I basically put the phone down and go about my business so I'm not really listening, with my mil I zone out or just try to avoid her lol. Idc what gender people are I dont enjoy being ear bashed.

It's funny, I've always felt extremely burdened by listening to the men in my life go on for hours. If someone wants to break up with you because they want to dump everything on you, they really are a person with very low self awareness. I'd say that's also an abusive and manipulative relationship.

That's something I've had to learn myself, as a female. It sounds like you might need to learn to let women know you are not able to listen to them emotionally dumping on you, like I've done with the men in my life. My dad has literally done it to me my whole life lol.

I've seen it happening on American sitcoms and cartoons but never encountered it. I'm sure it's not a gender thing and just that some people really love to vent without empathy to how the other is feeling about it.

That's so beautiful! Im so happy for you. They really are good people! That's why I prefer massage therapists over counsellors sometimes, that physical touch is so healing.

The hardest part was the concerns from family and the general public that I must not be happy with my cats and living alone. After many years being alone I did meet someone and we had a child, but that was not because I was miserable by myself. More because I was enjoying life and open to possibility. I had also accepted that I was probably never going to have a child or get married as I was nearly 30 when I met my partner.

Haha that's exactly what my brother does every night he gets home from work. Same with my malepartner, but he more doesn't do it as an hour long vent but in small bouts. I allow them to as I know some people need to vent from work. I don't particularly do it unless there's some pressing issue at work.

I resonate with that so much. The happiest times and most connected times of my life where I've experienced the most love are with a close-knit group of female friends. The loneliest and most isolated and depressed times are when all my time has been devoted to My male partner.

It's ok, but I'll understand if my daughter chooses to be single with cats!

There's a man shed where I live and I've not heard any negative comments about it at all. I suggested my partner go there but he doesn't feel the need.

She's right. Living alone as a single female (with a cat 😂) was an amazing time for me. I really many times wondered if it was worth it, and I do still miss that time.

If you treat your partner as your support group the relationship will not be fulfilling for either.

Well from friends who have been strippers, the majority of customers are married men who go to strippers because they are lonely.

For me personally, I've experienced no friends and a partner, a partner and no friends and both no friends/no partner. A partner can not and should not replace the role of friends.

They see things from their own lense and are just incapable of seeing it from ours. I can understand their views, if they were a woman they think they would be having sex with men whenever they wanted. But they can't accept we have our own mind, wants, likes, dislikes etc.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
