It's impressive how script like these conversations are. I could predict almost word-for-word what you were going to say. It's disturbingly predictable.

I have never gone to my range with the intent of meeting ladies. You go to the range to shoot, not pick up a date.

You have a total of 5 upvotes from a community of 35,000 people....you're grasping for straws here

Sadly I'd disagree. I tend to see much of the opposing or different viewpoints downvoted hard.

damn, and PA is pretty perfect in a lot of ways, but that's a serious black mark Edit: actually I think PA has abandoned its common law marriage laws http://pafamilylaw.foxrothschild.com/2011/03/articles/divorce/common-law-marriage-anyone

Is this the south? I could never imagine something like that happening here in the north east. Well maybe New York

He/She blew their cover on the second post. Shit was extremely obvious at that point.

That sounds like pretty obvious trolling in my opinion

Agreed. He got some rock solid advice from the other thread, but decided to ignore it for no apparent reason. Everything in the story seems to play to /MR a little too conveniently

Someone would misunderstand and say "Yeah, Feminism IS hard work. You're right!" and then you'd be standing there shaking your head.

He resigned about 3/4 of the way through the semester. I really regret not bringing it up though. At least once every few weeks he would spout some sexist bullshit.

In a slightly related, but mostly unrelated note. Last semester in my Psych 100 class, my Professor (male) made sure to note multiple times how "women constantly score higher in important areas such as reading, writing, and other things. While men score slightly higher on tests relating to manipulating images in your mind, women are catching up. And really, who cares about that? Reading is more important anyway" Thanks professor, you made 50% of your class feel real good. This lead me to wonder,…

Anyone remember that thread a few weeks ago (in another sub) where some guy was trying to say that the Draft was misogynistic? His stance was the it implied women were the weaker sex, so they couldn't be trusted to do the fighting. Or some bullshit.

In a life or death situation, the last thing I give a fuck about is societal expectations or rules.

There are so many various definitions to what a "right" is that I won't even bother. But I think we can all agree that if you lose control over everything around you, at least you still have control over what decisions you make regarding your own body. In a sense, your son lost that ability. I think the problem the community has with you is that you claim to be 99.9999999% against circumcision, but then get told to STFU by your wife, who has ZERO experience in this matter. This is arguably the s…

I can't articulate into words how stupid this is. I'm disgusted that a person like you exists. He doesn't have rights to the most basic thing he owns, his body?

In.a life or death situation I don't give a fuck what the social rules are. I'm getting off the plane as fast as I can without endangering others.

The common saying "Don't feed the trolls" should be applied to everyone everywhere, not just on message boards. They're clearly trying to be offensive just to get clicks for ad revenue.

Roslyn was an awful professor. I began the class excited about the opportunity to have a sense of community which is rare at psu Main campus?

Really expensive cars depreciate FAST. That $80,000 Corvette you just bought might only be worth 40K when you're finished with it.

Every time I think of this it makes me a little sad knowing that I won't live as long as most women. But then I realize that it doesn't really matter. Because during my life I plan on doing everything I can think of. Driving fast cars, shooting guns, sky diving, ect. So sure, women may live a little longer, but I'm fairly sure I'll have had a more exciting life than most.
