Okay, they can do drugs in private if they want. But if had a child and was at a playground with him, and saw a guy doing coke 50 feet away in public, I want to be able to call the police and get him arrested. I don’t care if it’s not my right, if it saves lives at the cost of restricting drug users I support it. Idgaf about morality if the benefits of something clearly outweigh the risks/downsides. And banning an ideology is clearly different from banning the use of a substance which has a (comparatively) high risk of making you become violent and very dangerous
