In a way technology will make certain parts of trades easier, but there is no way these trades will be phased out (well, until robots with AI come around, but then no job is safe). Trades and STEM jobs are overwhelmingly dominated by men and aren't really in danger of being automated any time soon, they're also at worst solid careers, and at best extremely lucrative. But, whatever, still isn't as alarming when looking at the big picture. Women will earn 60% of degrees, sure. But how much of that difference is in useless/far less lucrative fields (like I pointed out)? The far end of the graph has a 60/40 split at year 2021... Even though it says 100 men to 148 women in that little box (which doesn't match up with the graph). Regardless, 100 to 148 isn't 50% more, it's 33% more. I still don't see 50%. Even in your second link, they all average out to a 60/40 split.
