The funny thing is we had a brief conversation about something like this. She brought up some of her past dating experiences and said she always liked to be honest and doesn't like to hurt other peoples feelings. She also said she reads reddit and hates how misogynistic all the men are. The whole thing really is laughable.

I had already sent her a text along those lines. I made one attempt as I was leaving to call her and her phone was off. She would've gotten back to me by now if there was anything else going on. I'm all for giving the benefit of the doubt but it's just not gonna happen. What I meant by unforgivable is unless she gets back to me with a REALLY good reason for what she did, there's no way I could go out with her again. Rather spend my time pursuing other options.

Her words were more or less "everyone has been telling me that Alamo is awesome and that I should go. Sounds like a great idea." I'm not completely inept at reading people. There were seriously no signs that she was going to bail randomly. This is also not the typical movie theater experience. They don't even allow under 18 in.

I did send her a text along those lines because lets face it, shit happens. She did seem cool before she bailed that's why it was so bizarre.

This is bound to happen to me, but so far I haven't fallen victim to any of that "false advertising." Flakiness seems to be my only problem so far. Online has its advantages. You can weed people out based on what they say in their profiles. I usually find women online to have better personalities than those in real life.

There are a lot of cute geeky/nerdy girls on there. I have bad stories about people I dated in the real world too.

I've kind of lost count, but this was probably the 7th or 8th girl I've met up with. I think like 3 of them went beyond just one date and had relationship potential but so far nothing has really stuck. I'm overall still pretty happy with okc. This was the only bad date. This is the first time I've been ditched but I've been flaked on plenty of times. The thing I realize is that people usually feel really bad about doing this and if you just let them stew in their guilt for a while, they end up f…

Oh shit that reminds me. This place works so that at the end of the movie you pay your bill (the ticket you pay up front, but food/drink is after). I feel kinda bad now because I was so livid and confused that I just walked out and completely forgot about it.

I should add that as I was leaving I tried to call her. Straight to voicemail.

It wasn't really dinner date. I just planned on meeting her for drinks and then if things went well something after. The theater we went to serves food and she ordered some.

I thought about this. The last thing we were talking about was how much we love Dave Chappelle. And there were things we disagreed on, but nothing major. I was legitimately worried that she might have had some kind of medical issue. Or maybe she shat herself.

Yeah there's DEFINITELY nothing to do but move on. It seems so weird though because from the conversation we had, she seemed like she had her shit together. A masters in Evolutionary Bio, teaches classes at a community college, analytical mind, etc.. She also didn't give off any signals that she was so socially inept.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
