Christians and Churches in EuropeBy linking the video and giving me your explanation you made me realize in what a vulnerable position I actually am. Thank you. | /r/RPChristians | 11/09/20 11:47 PM
Christians and Churches in EuropeOk, I read your answer several times. What you outlined are several core aspects that should be respected and understood by a Christian Church. Every church that does not respect these in their teachings is contradicting central Christian truths. Thank you very much. This is helping me a lot to put some order in my thoughts... | /r/RPChristians | 11/09/20 11:11 PM
Christians and Churches in EuropeThank you. Yes, I understand, but are there churches that deny that? Are there churches that still practice something like e.g. indulgence? Is the concept behind "indulgence" what you tried to warn against? I think then I understand... Sorry, I realize how stupid I must sound. | /r/RPChristians | 11/09/20 10:59 PM
Christians and Churches in EuropeWhy it is important to find a church that doesn't lower it? No, I don't know... I think I know that it is emphasized that god gave his son for us to be freed from our sins. But I am just at the beginning to understand the religion I grew up with. So I think I do not know to what you are referring in particular. I mean I understand why forgiveness is important and how it related to being reborn and how death seems to be related to it and suffering, even on a larger scale, but I do not understand … | /r/RPChristians | 11/09/20 10:20 PM
Christians and Churches in EuropeWhat would you consider "lowering the importance of Jesus sacrifice on the cross"? Can you provide an example? | /r/RPChristians | 11/09/20 10:09 PM
Christians and Churches in EuropeThank you. I understand and appreciate this explanation. It might be what I am looking for. The holy spirit will probably be felt within the community without the need to exchange too many words. Thank you. | /r/RPChristians | 11/09/20 10:00 PM
Christians and Churches in EuropeSo your answer is basically, that the particular church does not matter too much? But what about the harsh truths that particularly our bluepilled society rejects and which as a consequence also lead to the churches covering up more and more what people do not want to hear or feel anymore? E.g. I constantly need to remind myself to be humble. As soon as I start feeling prideful I start to hurt others and myself. It is humility and remembering my faults that I need in order to remain with the tru… | /r/RPChristians | 11/09/20 09:56 PM
Christians and Churches in EuropeThere is actually a catholic church that separated from roman catholicism some years ago because they refused to give up traditional values. However reading about them they seem also pretty cultish about the priest that was responsible for creating that community. I also thought about going there, I assume that the mass is in Latin. However, from their approach they somehow remind me about age old dead catholic marriages without love, respect and trust, that one can see so often in eastern Europ… | /r/RPChristians | 11/09/20 09:41 PM
Christians and Churches in EuropeIn principle, yes. But how could I find one? | /r/RPChristians | 11/09/20 04:26 PM
Christians and Churches in EuropeThank you. And what if I feel the need to be closer to god? Intuitively I feel that I need god more than Jesus? Please excuse, if I sound pretentious, but what if I feel and know that I am saved and only really long for god? I have so much growth ahead of me. Jesus forgives, but god shows us our faults? | /r/RPChristians | 10/09/20 10:19 PM
Self-righteous girlsAssuming that she really is a virgin... The problem is not her self-respect but your frame. Why would you even think about whether she is arrogant or not. You do understand that this is how she selects men that are not her size? You have dated non-Christian women and probably also had sex with them? How do you even dare to speak about her presumed arrogance? She knows her value and probably she has let many men go, because they did not respect that she does not want to have sex pre-marriage. So,… | /r/RPChristians | 31/08/20 11:10 AM
Decoding towards a better world?Thank you for your answer. Can you point out some of the books that you have in mind? Maybe I can try to understand if the ideas are indeed similar. We have free choice, so the decision on how we use the knowledge we gain is ours. If this knowledge could be made accesible to everybody then everybody can consciously decide which side he wants to join. By no means would I want to eisegete* the bible. If anything at all I would hope to create an entrance point to reading and understanding the bible… | /r/RPChristians | 06/08/20 09:40 PM
