4	Workplace gender equality I work at the IRS. Let me tell you, it is about 70-80% women who work there. 90% of managers are female. Promotions are all about who is friends with who and not based on merit or ability at all. They even have non-technical leads and managers, which means they have zero training or understanding (I am not joking or being hyperbolic at all when I say zero) of the job and responsibilities of the people they supervise.
