Zero chance it was happenstance. The good news is she just telegraphed how she wants engage you. Screenshot every communication (record phone calls if your state allows it) and NEVER loose your cool. As a corollary, I recorded my ex screaming at me for 20 minutes “the only reason I want 75/25 is because of money”. The GAL was floored and recommended 50/50 - in GA which is not automatic. Stay calm it’s a marathon.

You can rebuild. The same skills you employed to become debt free you take with you. Don’t sweat it.

Just record every conversation. She will fuck up and you will have it on tape, eventually. Keep her honest with the judge.

As far as I’m concerned what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Go full tilt.

I hear you. And hopefully you’re right. It’s what everyone has been telling me. Sucks that I have to spend the money to validate that position. But the real question is do you think this response was composed by her lawyer. Funny side note is she used to get me to proofread her emails. I should have charged her. 🙃

It’s my 3rd week. Just keep your cool. Write everything down, date it. Nothing may come of it but documentation is better than no documentation. Pretty shitty thing to do though.

Just document what your doing, and take pictures, do things with friends to corroborate your story.

She’s not buying another house - she’s planning on renting one in the same school district for our kids. But obviously wouldn’t want to allow her to move out with kids and have it impact my ability to gain 50/50 custody. That being said, I’d rather not move into a rental with her until our divorce is finalized. Again I’ll ask on Monday just didn’t know if anyone had experienced something similar.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
