but when a woman does it, she is 'monkeybranching', right?

I think it's simple, a man will like a younger women more generally when it comes to looks. A woman similarly will be more attracted to a younger guy, sorry guys but when I compare the average 30 year old to the average 50 year old I certainly know who is more attractive. It's basic biology to be more attracted viscerally to youth. But both genders including myself at age 42 (woman) need to be a bit more realistic about who will be attracted to you. Be the best version of yourself, but be aware …

yeah we can repeat a 1000 times the same thing but these men will still just insist that we are so lucky having what we don't want in reality. It's so invalidating, it's like being told that somebody else knows better what you want than you do yourself.

thank you for saying this, exactly my thoughts. It gets so so tiring, no matter how many times we can repeat that it's not what we want, some men will still say yeah you should be lucky you can get so much (of what you don't want). It's terribly invalidating.

don't like hating on a whole gender, it's too generalising. So any ideology that tries to paint a whole gender as to blame, I'm careful with that. Better to look honestly to both sides.

Improve your looks and style, and be a bit humble about it, not the bragging mysogynistic red pill way. I mean of course women like a physically attractive guy who is active about himself. But this arrogant 'I'm the top G I can get any women I want because women XYZ, women want to be controlled' etc. is just very off putting, even though TRP itself would claim otherwise. You can take the best parts out of a cult, or find them elsewhere because actually what TRP preaches about looks is widespread…

In real life I only know like one couple who were trying this and after a while it ruined their marriage. Led to terrible jealousy and fights. I know no other people who want to or even who find this normal. It happens but it's far from considered normal / standard.

Its the reason I quit like 3 years ago, for every normal / decent guy I have to dig through multiple creeps, wasting my time and energy on talking to them until they start being creepy. I tried a couple of times, quit then joined back but each experience was similar. Just not worth it for me. I either meet him in the real world - not that that ever happens but ok - or stay single and do something more productive with my life.

I'm a woman and I would very gladly go on more than 4 dates if I like somebody, in fact I genuinely would appreciate if he doesn't 'escalate'. There's other ways to subtly flirt than just start kissing or jumping into bed. If I feel attracted to him I will certainly stay attracted. In fact the two serious and good relationships I was in, started that way, first couple of dates just being in each others presence, after that holding hands etc. After we did start kissing, sparks flew even heavier :…

that's a sad thing I think. To me a man who does this, is not high value either, I mean he may have a high income or be good looking or have good style or whatever thing that is often mentioned here being high value. But knowing he is sleeping around, I am immediately grossed out. I mean ok several past partners by a certain age fine I'm no virgin but just sleeping around for an extended period of time I would doubt his ability to want to commit. I don't care about what is socially acceptable so…

safe and wanted? If he sleeps around with so many women he's not safe and wanted, maybe he won't kill me and he's hot but that's it. He can't even stay faithful so why would I want him? If he is so used to sleeping around he won't stay faithful in his marriage, that's the thing he's proven. For me this holds just as much for men as for women that sleep around with many men.

chiming in, woman here, no ONS here as well. It's actually quite rare in my social circle as well, I have one friend who sometimes has one.

I have a friend who does that, he once saw a woman walking by and commented 'well you still stand a fairly good chance of finding somebody compared to whales like her". It was supposed to be a compliment for me I guess but I thought, ok if you can talk about her like this, what if I ever gain weight, or something happens to me that I'm not as 'perfect' in your eyes as now. His vitriol will be for me, and it's good to realise that. One reason for me not to date him (among others, can confirm he h…

Yes these guys who talk about younger women and the wall etc... I would never consider them for long term even if I were younger. As soon as I would get older, would be scared to be left for a younger one, or that he stays without attraction at the same time thinking I'm past my expiration date. What woman in her right mind would want that?

Bad experiences with some men have made me less trustful yes, but I won't generalise. There's simply some very rotten people including men out there, and it takes more time to gain my trust now. I think that's a very healthy thing. I think I can also understand what attracts men to TRP but I really really dislike it myself. I think it's a cult with some partial truths that are much exaggerated to paint all women with a very negative mysogynistic brush. I would have to know more about your person…

had never heard about it, frankly as a woman I don't agree with the points mentioned, as in, I would not behave that way. In my two healthy relationships I fell in love, he was good to me I was good to him. Never thought about 'calculating the net benefit'. Pity you had to experience otherwise, maybe you won't believe me anyway but definitely not all women behave like that. I know no other women who do actually, or maybe one or two who I consider very self centered in many respects, they exist b…

it's the woman that should be shamed imo, terrible. You don't leave your man when he's going through a rough patch.

so if you ever get married and god forbid get depressed or sick for a while, or go through any type of hardship eg lose your job, your wife can run away cheating?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/23 01:51 PM

yeah because in this case the guy is a giant asshole indeed. His wife got pregnant a second time, has a very difficult pregnancy and depression after that, and all he says about it is that he is so repulsed by her and she looks like a monster. Complains about the dirty dishes, tries to get his wife to start excercising to lose the weight not because he feels bad for her feeling like crap ('I will buy you dinner if you do' - well how about buying her dinner to cheer her up, not as some kind of pa…

Spent too much time until my 30s with low self esteem, had 2 short bad relationships from which thankfully I ran away quickly but took time healing and (I would say succesfully) sorting out my own issues. Wouldn't consider myself a hottie, average or a bit above, take good care of myself though + I am fit and workout. Right now I feel like I'm in a place for a good relationship for some years already, and I would love to be in one, but I hardly meet any eligible single guys. I really don't like …

no that's not how he puts it, he litterally says that he can't walk away because he wants to fuck her. So he HAS to accept all the crap, poor him, because he wants to fuck her. He doesn't acknowledge anything. Whereas he can't accept that women can be tempted by a guy coming on strong, have sexual desires as well, making it sometimes difficult to walk away, yet requires them to do so and if they don't blames them. Nice way of ALWAYS putting the blame on the women and presenting the men as the in…

First time watching this show. It's really funny how the guy asks some questions to the women, or posing things like a true statement beyond discussion, all of the women deny it, and he still sticks to his point. If you're going to stick to your point and not believe anything the women say, who actually are the people you are claiming things about, then stop asking at all. The hosts just want to wallow in their own worldview and would never want to be convinced otherwise. They already know every…

My first boyfriend a long while ago was 26 and I was 19, he was still a virgin and had never had a relationship. I didn't care at all.

I don't care 1% about him being rich. If he has a minimum wage job that he's happy about, I'm happy. Personality and chemistry (if I'm attracted to him physically) is what matters.

I agree with this, never multidated. Maybe a first date yes but as soon as I go on a 2nd date, I focus on the one guy to get to know him more. If it turns out to be great, 3rd date and so on. Multidating is only confusing to myself and I don't really see the point of it.

the guy said in other comments that he has a girlfriend and actively cheating on her with all of these women to get his 'I got with 1000 women' score. So yeah, honesty is not really in his dictionary when it comes to dating. Don't know if he is trolling or not, but if not, I guess people are not falling for him as he really is but for a lie. If he is happy about that, ok then, it gets him what he wants apparently. But I feel so sorry for the girlfriend who is living a lie. Pretty sure 99.9% of w…

can second this, I've been in a short relationshit like that and he started out with this persona of a shy bit introverted guy, a bit socially awkward. That last thing sure he was but in totally different ways than I had expected. He tried but had bad luck with me, through experience I had learnt some proper boundaries so quickly disengaged. I'm sure he will be into red pill as well, abusers fit with this ideology very well. To him, every woman is a slut and a whore, I was as well in the end for…
