I did not even bother replying. I had someone who stringed me quite well. The story was she was a fashion student in South Africa and her consignment was stuck. She needed someone to pay 700$ in US to clear it. This is after 4 odd days of decent chatting. I admire the effort the dude or girl behind it put.

I am not broke, in fact completely the opposite. I went into a European car dealership in US as a mediocrely dressed Indian. They didn't entertain me much and I changed my plans. The dealer was also offended when I compared her luxury European brand suv to a Japanese one not considered in the same league. Off course it was a Karen who talked to me then.

I did not have a lot of male friends before. But as I went into my 30s I decided to keep in touch with only a handful of people who understood me for me. I definitely couldn't stand people whose personalities changed excessively post marriage and influenced the dynamics of the friendship.

I lived in India for less than a week after marriage and the DV case filed against me included me and 7 extended family members including grandparents. Eventually case was thrown off however nothing could be done against the accuser.

I have a friend who is partially deaf and got the worst deal with genetics with lot of hair and being bald+short. Despite all the setbacks he received he is very polite and tries to have a good conversation. 9 out of 10 women make preconceived notions about him and avoid him not even giving him the chance.

I can concur, I had fomo before 30 but I don't any more. My only problem is that I am presently stuck in India and do not enjoy being a part of society that constantly judges you. I can't get arranged married here either due to genetic issues despite becoming extremely successful in life.

Unfortunately the word feminist has strayed so far from the original definition that is has become impossible for few men like me to have positive connotations when the word is used. So easy to forget that it was really all about equality. It is like communism, sounds good in theory especially when young but when the adherents use any means towards their goal the process becomes more toxic that the noble end goal is overshowed.

Let me give you a different perspective as someone who supports basic UBI. I think the problem is that talking about responsibilities is considered a taboo in Western countries. However when a much needed welfare is provided it must be fair for the state to ensure: No drug addicts or rehabilitation for them once No more than 2 kids Limited choice in spending. E.g. Part of UBI should be essential supplies and the rest should be cash. Some kind of task that Govt directly provides based on skillset…

For me as an Indian who was in US for 10+ years, traveling locally was only break. However I do not like haggling and traveling in unknown locations. Very easy to spend too much when traveling.

I have been socially outcast in a way due to deciding to not have children after a failed 5 day marriage and 2+ years court case. Mostly because I live in India. Tbh I do want to marry but it is not possible to find a woman who doesn't want kids here. Also I don't want children due to genetic reasons.

Laws are misused by the small fraction of upper middle class urban women. Written with broad mandate for all women. They can generally never be accused of anything. It is complicated. Never trust any reporting on India by western news outlets. They cherry pick per their convenience and narrative they want. It is a huge and complex country.
