| 1 | If girls liked or wanted sex as much as guys, most guys wouldn’t struggle to get laidI think I see where our disconnect is, I don't fully disagree with everything you're saying, but I think a lot of the reasonings are off. Like I agree that it's harder to pick up women in real life, but I think it's because people don't approach like they did in generations before. That being said, if you take care of basic hygiene and put at a little effort into the clothes you wear, you're already doing better than most men. I can't say I've ever thought about the possibility that the girl I'm… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/02/24 05:07 PM |
| 1 | If girls liked or wanted sex as much as guys, most guys wouldn’t struggle to get laidIdk what to tell you my man, other than the fact that there are still plenty of women who don't use them. I mean, I've never been on a dating app (as a guy), but from my friends that have, I understand it can be extremely superficial over there because it's like 80% men 20% women, that's why I really don't think they're representative of the real world. I've seen some couples where the girl is average to good looking and the guy is a straight-up loser. I'm talking stays inside playing video game… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/02/24 03:19 PM |
| – | If girls liked or wanted sex as much as guys, most guys wouldn’t struggle to get laidThat's true but at the end of the day it's still a communication issue. If you're communicating a problem and your partner is too self-centered and entitled to ever listen, then the problem won't be solved, you'll get the same result as if you didn't talk about it in the first place. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/02/24 02:49 PM |
| – | If girls liked or wanted sex as much as guys, most guys wouldn’t struggle to get laidI think you're conflating women who do hookups with average women. On dating apps, yes that tends to be true, but in the real world, normal average guys find a girlfriend and then that's that | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/02/24 02:41 PM |
| 3 | Do you guys think AI humanoid girlfriends will be popular in the future?I find everything you said super interesting. It's true that people make friends on the Internet and through video games, but how many of those would you consider to be 'close' friendships? I think that's usually what people are talking about whenever they refer to male loneliness. Like someone you're comfortable telling anything to, even your deepest flaws. I feel like that's very rare with online friends, and even when it does happen, it's usually after the people met IRL after many many years… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/02/24 05:24 AM |
| 3 | Men certainly don't need to be more in touch with their emotionsYeah that's the big problem imo. Men that grow up without any close female friends tend to be more emotionally disconnected. In cases where they don't even have many close male friends growing up either to form deep emotional connections with, the moment they get in a relationship with a girl, they tend to see her as more of an emotional support puppy rather than a human being, and dump all of those suppressed emotions onto her, which can be extremely overwhelming. I think this is a common scena… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/23 04:33 PM |
| 3 | Men certainly don't need to be more in touch with their emotionsYou're creating a false dichotomy. Why does it have to be about self-pity every time you have an emotional conversation? There are ways it can be productive, for example, if you are talking to someone and you realize you were living a very comfortable yet unhealthy lifestyle, the conversation can be about grieving that you need to make uncomfortable changes and make major changes to your life in order to improve. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/23 04:29 PM |
| 3 | Men certainly don't need to be more in touch with their emotionsSometimes you have to talk about things in order to take action, that's literally what therapy is. The therapist doesn't hold your hand and walk you to the gym, you talk about your problems back and forth and it helps. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/23 04:21 PM |
| 1 | Men certainly don't need to be more in touch with their emotionsWhen something bad happens to a woman, she cries about it and talks about it with her friends. When something bad happens to a man, he kills himself. And you're saying the way women process emotions is worse? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/08/23 04:16 PM |
