Learn to pick your battles wisely. Sometimes its best to stay silent and walk away. If you have no chance as its what it sounds like you're saying then (referring to OP's post) pack your bags and leave. That's easier said than done so I don't blame u if u can't (plus covid if that concerns u). TL; DR: Don't fight uphill battles. Silence is golden
