Which "looksmaxxing" things actually work? Besides him, surgeries and makeup up

That might be but I've noticed that people just don't like being explained something cause they don't like being proven wrong and they don't like feeling dumb

How do I learn to become more assertive to people? I can't say no and i don't like complaining and upsetting people even when they're wrong

Before I give up and try to live by myself, I want to go all in on trying to "self improve", I've failed at connecting with people all life, at making friends or any relationships not just romantic ones, I want to give it a last shot trying to fix this. So give me an actionable advice you can on things i can do to work on this. I hate being just an acquaintance to everyone, no one's priority or best friend

Why would that be a red flag?

Both irl and online, if someone doesn't come up to talk or text first, after I've started a conversation with them the first 1-2 times then is it a good idea to stop talking? That's what I do these days, if I'm texting someone new and if that person doesn't message first the next day i consider it an end. And that's how most go really, they only talk the times i initiate and it feels one sided like they're just answering my questions. Honestly tired of talking to new people and it just never evo…

I actually have no idea how to cold approach a stranger, I don't want to come off as a creep

Men say there's too many men which increases the competition, women say they're tired of getting constantly hit on, dmed, etc so if magically the male population got lowered by a lot, would it solve the major dating issues?

Is it possible to change your personality? And is it even worth it to? Should one really want to change the way they naturally are?

What makes someone stand out in a group? Idk how to describe it better but how do you become more of a main character, that people notice and like the presence of? I don't like being the invisible guy in every group

Why care about these rich privileged folk that don't even know about you? They're rich enough to get the best medical care on earth
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/24 03:52 PM

I have heard this explanation before, so what do you suggest men should really do?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/24 02:56 PM

I just quit therapy today 👍 felt a bit sad cause it was the only outlet where i could ask a real person about my problems, but it really wasnt working. Now i really feel like there's no fixing or solution to my problems
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/24 02:41 PM

I meant in this thread
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/24 01:54 PM

Do you think this sub is good for asking advice? If not, what are some subs that can give genuinely good advice that isn't the same surface level advice mainstream reddit always keeps repeating?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/24 01:37 PM

the average man finds the average woman attractive, but the average woman doesn't find the average man attractive Do you think this statement is true or not?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/24 01:21 PM

I open this sub everytime I'm in a bad mood, idk why
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/24 01:17 PM

I mean, if you have friends that invite you to things then you're probably doing far better than me. Also i don't really know how to not be boring, everytime I try to talk more, make jokes and interact more with others, people just find me annoying
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 05:18 PM

Settling definitely exists and it's terrifying cause you can't read someone's mind to know if they actually love you or not
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 04:11 PM

Give it a nice, proper burial. Bury it in a flower pot
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 03:30 PM

Wtf do i even work on when idk what my problem is? All I know is I can never seem to make any connections with other humans, no friendships of any type and it's been like this all my life. No one around me has ever told me why and what the issue/reason is, everytime I ask about this to people around me they just say "nothing's wrong with you", "you're a great guy" etc. I'm so tired of trying to figure this out
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 03:23 PM

Brb getting a manual labour job and leather boots

What kinda work ends at 2:30? Sounds amazing
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 02:48 PM

Lol I'm tired of trying man, nothing ever works out for me, in any aspect of life
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 02:47 PM

Sometimes I feel like some people just have great luck, good things just happen to them, they don't have to force it so hard or overthink about it. I see it so much irl, obviously everyone needs to put in some work, but some can hardwork a lot and still not succeed
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 02:43 PM

I don't know anything about skincare can any ladies here recommend me products (2-3 products at max) that I can just apply to get clear skin? Trying to discover all this myself is confusing, and I really just want a simple routine that's not time consuming. Preferably that's also light on my pockets lol

How do some guys get women into this state of "I'll do anything for him" ? Is it really all just cause of looks?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/24 02:53 PM

There are almost equal number of men and women in population, then how come there's so many men complaining about having no gf or experience but rarely women? And if there are such women why dont we see them complain? It's always dudes
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/24 02:39 PM

I thought women couldn't stand unhygienic dudes, let alone cuff them. Like that's the most frequently said thing by women all the time, for guys to be hygienic

I have a hard time telling if women are being sarcastic or not, i have a hard understanding that for all people but women a bit more for some reason
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:30 PM

Nah frumpy chicks are cute
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:27 PM

I'm just different bro
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:19 PM

Plain white oversize tshirt - skinny jeans - sneakers, i love this combo, never misses. Because I like dressing like I'm in a hiphop music video

/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:48 PM

Do women generally care if a guy is talented at something/s or not? Like if a guy looks good, has a good personality but sucks at everything he tries his hand at, games, hobbies, career, jobs etc
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:47 PM

Lots of reasons, I'm broke, prefer natural, wouldn't want to force such a thing on someone, her body she gets to decide not me. It's not a hard preference either tbh i wouldn't reject someone for it
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:42 PM

How common is c-cup
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:35 PM

Is liking big tits too high of a preference if that's my only thing? Like if a woman has big tits on a fit frame(not fat) then she's a 10 to me, idc about any other physical features
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:32 PM

Very agree
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:22 PM

Beautiful, big-titty, butt-naked women just don't fall out the sky, you know?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 07:03 PM

Why do you say bro so much
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 06:57 PM

I don't drink either, thought i was the only one here because how common it is for people to drink
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 06:53 PM

I just don't understand the reason behind ghosting, i understand it when the person gives one word replies, sounds disinterested, if that person ghosts me I'm not surprised. But then some people show enthusiasm, actually give good replies, jokes etc and then ghost? Why?🤷‍♂️
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 06:18 PM

Conan Craig These two are the best imo
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 06:02 PM

This sub could be so much more interesting if people here didn't kill the discussion by just saying "it depends on the looks", "it's because chad has great looks so he can do anything" and instead discussed more about social cues, the right/wrong stuff to say, body language and all that. I know looks matter but I hate when there are situations where you could discuss other aspects but just attribute it all to looks and end it in a sentence
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 05:57 PM

Is 5'6-5'7 considered tall for women?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 05:35 PM
2

Sure i agree there's a lot of guy like that, but then how do you argue with guys getting frequently ghosted? You can't see any of those bad or unhygienic habits through text
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 05:13 PM

What other alternatives work according to you? What do you think a guy should do if he wants solutions to his life problems and mental health issues?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 05:11 PM

it’s not everything What other traits, qualities count the most? Also what does it mean to have a strong sense of self?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 04:17 PM

Can you elaborate more? I think you're right, even though I try not to, i think i maybe come off as really anxious to others cause of my body language and expressions
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 04:13 PM

So what do you think is the magic bullet? Besides looks
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 04:11 PM

Been getting back into reading and i enjoy fantasy so much. Although youtube has fried my brain and I have a hard time focusing and not picking my phone again. How long till i recover from this?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 04:07 PM

I wish I could find that "else" someday
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 03:53 PM

So that's a yes?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 03:50 PM

Do you agree that confidence really is everything as some people say as an advice? Like if i stop ruminating on what's wrong with me, and instead just try to act as confident as I can will it give results?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 03:47 PM

Can you elaborate? How do you go about doing that?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 03:18 PM

Dude I'm honestly of trying to be optimistic even when life sucks
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 07:00 PM

I feel like I'm unfixable. Whatever's wrong with me, it's never gonna change
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 06:54 PM

You know that a lot of illustrators that earned through commissions started earning less since the advent of ai right? Same for content writers, creative writers
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 06:19 PM

Will you spend money on him?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 06:09 PM

Last time I got those tests done the results were normal. I'm slightly fat but been working over it in the gym 🫡
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 06:03 PM

God yes, I don't agree with cheese but mayonnaise is VILE, absolutely disgusting
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 05:56 PM

Wants to save
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 05:55 PM

I eat junk food/fried food frequently, almost every other day and a lot too, my weight has been the same since like last 5-6 years
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 05:55 PM

Q4W: If you like a guy but he is super stingy with spending his money, doesn't like spending much on dates or on you, other than that he's nice and all, then is that reject worthy or not?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 05:53 PM

What? What's wrong with that?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 05:20 PM

This sub piques my morbid curiosity, in the way when someone tells you something bad happened and you just want to know what it is or like when you can't look away from a street brawl/people arguing.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 05:20 PM

Man I'm not really familiar with all these pills so I didn't know that lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 05:15 PM

True and I'm glad that I don't need more than 15 minutes to dress up my hair and face
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 05:12 PM

That sounds sad. Has this happened to you or anyone you know?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 05:06 PM

Hella lore to the subreddit i don't use it enough to keep up
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 05:03 PM

"fatphobia pilled" lol what did they ever do to you? Fat people can be nice
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 04:58 PM

Appreciate you hoping that for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 04:47 PM

For some reason, as a child i always thought that men don't need to be attractive. I still see normal guy-pretty girl couples more than vice versa irl. Also see a lot of fat and/or short dudes in relationships when I'm outside
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 04:46 PM

Damn you are comfortable posting your pics on here? You don't fear getting doxxed or any other dangers? Specially knowing the nature of this sub
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 04:39 PM

Yeah, three replies in, I've realised i didn't know what it meant
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 04:32 PM

I did not know that was the definition of it
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 04:30 PM

If i got "lovebombed" by a woman I'd probably love it. Only if it's genuine tho not manipulative
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 04:24 PM

It's cause you're quirky and not like the other girls
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 04:18 PM

Morally evil. I'd just borrow money from some other family member till another job. I'd also start questioning my choices if i chose a good person or not
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 04:10 PM

This isn't a serious comment btw just a passing thought i was curious about, i don't hate women or anything lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 03:27 PM

What's up with women having bad taste in pop media/art? Lot of mainstream big things popular rn that have a majority female fanbase are really bland or wack. Example: Taylor Swift, kpop, ya books, Colleen Hoover, wattpad. Edit: i was making a joke geez chill out
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 03:27 PM

You didn't have to unnecessarily burn me like that bro Wait is he actually though? Would any ladies here like to weigh in on this?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 03:04 PM

Felt very hashtag represented when I saw Michael Cera was in the in the Barbie movie
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 02:56 PM

I once made a post on here asking women, what were the qualities in the guy that you've lived the most ever. Dumb move cause the replies just upset me lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 08:58 AM
2

Q4M: You guys ever get tired of all this? Like do you ever just feel so done? Nothing ever working out? Tbh I'm just asking y'all what I'm feeling
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 08:43 AM
1

I have never figured what exactly my issue is, like why i can't ever make human connections, so idek what to work or improve upon all of it feels like blind guesses that i make in my mind. If someone actually told me this is what's wrong or this is why it's not working, i would actually put my efforts into fixing/improving it. Like at this point what should I even work on?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:51 PM

The fact that some of you open and interact with this sub daily how does your brain not melt? Not even being ironic, places like this and the toxic comments/posts on here can't be good for the brain

Q4W: Would you get the ick or lose attraction if you see the guy you're with get beat the fuck up by some other dude
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 06:02 PM
2

Idk i personally have never used this argument as a man. I don't think relationships should be this transactional like it's some sort of trade. If i were to answer I'd say loyalty, honesty, dieting genuine support when a guy is going through bad times. Honestly it shouldn't be the case of "i did this just cause you did that before so now we're even" more of "i did this cause i love you"
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 05:49 PM
1

Idk the reason. Am I introverted and shy? Yes. Have I been trying to bury that part of me and trying to talk as much as I can to people but still to no avail? Yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 05:11 PM
2

This has always happened to me all my life, everytime I go to a new place, new group of people, i eventually become invisible to them, I never stand out in any group, just a background character who people don't care about at all. Currently happening in class, where I enter, listen/study, get out. No one really talks or approaches
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 04:54 PM
1

Idk if you're being sarcastic but i meant late social experiences/life experiences
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 03:58 PM
2

I hate being a late bloomer. There's no positives to it, you're behind everyone else in life, people don't like you cause of it and I've missed out on things that were/are normal to people and everyone else experienced in their school/college days. Can't rewind time
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/24 03:45 PM
2

Cruel
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 06:02 PM
2

You can't simultaneously be concerned with masculinity and be obsessed with how other men look. Obsession with your face isn't masculine. A bit maintenance and grinning is okay but calling other dudes psl "gods" and shit is wack
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 05:48 PM
2

I mean, if you're a woman then sure. She sounds like the female friend that pulls her thin friend away when a guy tries to talk to her
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 05:39 PM
2

Are these supposed to get worse and worse every time someone posts these?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 05:36 PM
1

Lmao no idea what you're talking about but to answer your q, none cause they're cringe and useless
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 05:05 PM

I have thought of this same question lol. I think any one martial art and one high endurance sport like football(⚽) or rugby
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 04:59 PM
1

Women's and men's preferences in female beauty are so different. I find her to be a 10 while I see other women describe this actress with "plain", girl next door and just above average
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 04:55 PM

imagine being this pretty this woman makes me feel things
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 04:53 PM

I'm not lol fuck that

Hate dieting bruh it feels like living in black and white. I like food too much
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 04:42 PM
1

Damn, i was just thinking that i should start doing this
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 04:39 PM
1

Honestly i think the best solution is to be happy by yourself. Go to the movies, to eat out, to vacations all by yourself. Is it sustainable? idk, probably not but that's the best I can think of
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 04:29 PM
2

Some generalisations/stereotypes are true. Women definitely are the less violent/aggressive gender
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 01:43 PM
4

"Settling" is when you literally don't have any sort of attraction or love towards your partner, don't like both their personality or looks but are with them cause you need stability/money in life. idk why every time this topic is brought up on this sub, people just play around with the word semantics and say "everyone settles". Real life is very different, I see a lot of average looking couples that like each other a lot
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 01:35 PM
3

Just checked out r/boysarequirky, really weird sub, some of the posts that they get mad about seem like harmless fun and aren't even hurtful stereotypes
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 04:06 PM
7

Bro the way some of you talk about women makes it seem like y'all just loathe all of womankind
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 04:03 PM
1

But the focus on pretty people, looks and aesthetics works kpop is a million dollar industry and famous all over the globe
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 03:57 PM
3

Kpop is honestly such a fake music genre, it's all about the looks and image around the artists, get good looking people and have them rip off western rap and pop, it's not really about the music just the looks
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 03:53 PM

What exactly do you mean by doing better? Career wise? Staying fit? or something else(
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 03:48 PM

I mean i don't find fatness desirable either, but that's something that can be changed, you can always lose weight or make someone lose it
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 03:41 PM
1

Kinda sad to be that shallow
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 03:35 PM

Q for men and women, if a person is clearly below average, short, fat, etc earns very less, but she/he is very loyal, supportive, always by your side and sweet to you, would you still find that person undesirable?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 03:33 PM

The disparity of mental states between men and women that I've noticed on this sub is quite huge, most men here are in extreme states of either a lot of rage or deep sadness, while most women seem quite relatively less intense and light hearted
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/24 02:40 PM

Didn't even mention getting laid
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/24 12:01 PM

I guessed so. Then why do women complain about guys being emotionally unavailable? Most dudes I've seen are desperate enough to give all their time, money to whatever chick shows an ounce of interest

/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/24 03:40 PM

Yeah i feel like I'm out of options, issues and questions but no one to ask them to
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/24 03:33 PM

Kinda sad and hilarious that the word and (probably) the sub was for below and average dudes and it just got jacked by already great looking women
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/24 03:33 PM
1

What if I just can't find any such or if I can't afford them? Are there any alternatives?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/24 03:30 PM
1

But i really do whatever I'm suggested or asked to do. My issue is that I find it too formal and just never directly giving me an answer or analysis
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/24 03:25 PM
1

Any other options besides therapy? Like i just wish that i knew someone that is wise enough to understand my issues and give me straight solutions and insights, but I have no one to ask these things to
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/24 03:21 PM
2

Serious question. Does therapy just not work? Like, i don't like the "how are you feeling", "why are you feeling" type questions, it feels too meta and beating around the bush. If i have a question or situation, I just want the solution to it directly, someone that analyse me and can give harsh if necessary insight about me as a person and my personality, i don't like this "you're good as you are" type stuff, What branch or type of therapy and psychologist comes close to what I want?

/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 07:44 PM

women don't understand that clothing does not make them look hot. Yeah the lack of clothing does (to me atleast lmao)
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 07:43 PM

They're punished for anger too lol
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 07:40 PM

Sure i get how it could be annoying, but enough to for you to lose love over?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/24 07:35 PM

A comment i saw on here that I'm paraphrasing: she likes a guy a lot, guy has the looks and all but the guy makes her his sole purpose, gets too clingy, giving all his time and attention to her and that's what makes the girl lose attraction for him, cause it was too much.

Seen some accounts on here that have been active for 6-7 years on this sub, bro reading that amount toxic ppd discourse CANNOT be good for your brain

Spent like first 2 years at uni just learning how to become a regular dude, and by the year 4 became a local celebrity suddenly liked by everyone and extrovert as hell. Can you describe what things did you actually do in detail? In the same place but I have no clue how to actually improve myself to be more likeable to people, like what should I even work on

Y'all ever realise how simple and common it is in animals to have friends, mates and a group they belong to? It's such an innate and basic need in them that they get depressed and die when left alone, you are advised to get a pair of birds cause one alone doesn't survive. Almost like food and water to some animals. Humans overcomplicated the fuck out of such a basic need and ruined it, we're overpopulated but still lonely, why did it become so difficult? Hope i dont sound like r/im14andthisisdee…

I'm sorry but the risk is too much to get the horrible label of "creep". This comment is crazy to me cause most don't want to be wooed, usually the opposite. It's frustrating because we get called clingy or crazy if we try to take matters into our own hands and approach guys. What? I know I shouldn't speak for all of them but men love getting approached by women and when women initiate, both are very rare. And most men love "clingy" cause they get the opposite too much of being "too distant" and…

/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/24 06:21 PM
1

Can you elaborate more
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/24 06:18 PM
1

What does it mean to be charismatic?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/24 06:16 PM
1

Yes. I've always felt like there's some quality that people naturally have and it can't be put into words. Seen dudes that weren't good at anything and not good looking but were still socially popular. People say that they're "charming" , "charismatic" but I've never really understood what it meant
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/24 06:10 PM
2

For men, slightly pretty or even average looking women are enough for them to be attracted to. In case of women, being average and even being moderately attractive doesn't get you noticed, you have to have exceptional features, top 10%-1% type for them to react the same way towards you the way men do towards women. The way I've seen women act towards such guys with insane features is totally different, it's a completely different side of women you rarely see, moderately attractive guys don't eli…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/24 06:08 AM

For men, tinder only works if you're in the top 1% of attractiveness
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 06:03 PM

I'm sorry man, that probably hurts like hell. Shitty of her to just replace you altogether like that
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/24 07:08 AM

I thought it meant when women are attracted to bad morals, traits and toxicity

You've never been in a relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 04:32 PM

Have any of you ever actually seen a real life example of "settling", afbb, badboy sterotypes? I only always see these online
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 04:27 PM
3

Not short, but I find it interesting how strict some women's height standards are, specially the ones that viscerally clown short guys online, I wonder how they'd treat him and react if their future child grows up to be a short man
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/24 08:28 AM
1

So the original advice does nothing for those that can't even attract people, for someone like that people won't be attracted to you whether you hate or love yourself
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/24 09:24 PM
1

But you were able to get women right? You were still capable of attracting people towards you
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/24 09:19 PM
1

How? Do people with self hate treat people harshly or something? I've been told to love myself more and do have some esteem issues but I've never treated others badly, said something rude or refused to help
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/24 08:58 PM
1

Is it like an overall vibe/aura thing that when you start loving yourself it reflects in your body language
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/24 08:51 PM
1

Then why is it that a lot of people that have self esteem, self hate issues still have a social circle?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/24 08:50 PM
1

Those are exceptions, the majority usually never do
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/24 08:48 PM
3

This has been discussed probably a lot of times here but why is it that women never approach? Why is it so rare for them to do it?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/24 08:46 PM
1

Women love men who love themselves. Read this here, do you think this is true or not? In general I've heard the advice "you should love yourself first" and that will attract more people to you, do you agree with this?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/24 08:38 PM

Should've expected it but i joined an aerobics class at the gym and there's not a single male in it now I'm second guessing this shit, i don't even like the dances the make you do just thought it'd be good for health and all that

/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 04:29 PM
1

Lmao you have no idea how low men can drop their standards do you
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/24 08:15 PM
1

So you just don't believe there's anything deeper than looks to love? I feel like it has a spiritual aspect to it too if they both truly love each other. Do old folks just stop loving each other when their skin gets all wrinkly?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/24 07:26 PM
3

I see a lot of happy couples that are in love with each other, where neither are particularly good looking and even bow average sometimes, so there definitely is something deeper to it than looks but it has to be mutual. I think there's different types of loves, the way you love a parent vs a friend vs partner are different and carry very different emotions, dynamics with them
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/24 07:07 PM
1

Agree, forcing them to drop their standards would just lead more unhappy marriages, the woman would feel like she settled and won't show any real affection to him and the guy would be stuck in a marriage where he doesn't even feel wanted/loved
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/24 06:55 PM
1

Yeah it's not one or the other but the woman you described would kinda still come in the category for me, would be worse in a way if she liked me but just broke it off cause of money. But i will say that if a guy is totally broke and can't even afford to properly live in that case i understand not wanting to be with him, it's different from a woman that only wants rich guys and will only date if you earn high enough
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/24 06:37 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/24 05:35 PM

Weeknd has multiple songs with toxic lyrics towards women, on some he even says how he wants to share her with his boys, women love it all though, all the very typical fboy lyrics. If it bumps then it bumps i guess. Think that if anyone else used such lyrics they'd def get criticism for it
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/23 01:58 PM

Do you completely accept and love yourself as is, the way you are or do you try to self improve and make yourself a better, more interesting person to talk to? Strictly in context of dating, social life etc
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/23 02:22 PM

No, seen it enough irl, the socially awkward girl usually gets adopted/accepted into a friend group, even when she doesn't speak much, can't say the same for the male counterparts. Also you know that the burden of approaching is always on the man right? An awkward woman still gets hit on and approached, the guy isn't getting hit on by women and he's already bad at approaching
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/23 06:22 AM

"just date the autistic or socially inept women" lol even they prefer nt guys, literally saw a comment saying that they're a nd woman that doesn't want to date nd guys and always prefers nt guys to balance it out

I think the whole women like toxic and bad boys and hate good, nice ones boils down to a few attributes: extroversion, not caring/giving a fuck and recklessness, the reckless go getter attitude is considered attractive and since these guys are out more, freely talking to everyone they naturally have more chances, plus they are less sensitive to rejection and break ups. Being calm, docile is in a way low energy and humans like high energy, optimistic people more

Besides OLD or any other virtual/online spaces, what are the best ways to date women? Can't do it in your office, gym, even friends groups sometimes. I know one most people say is different hobby clubs but women don't like being approached there

People talk of this dynamic where a guy treats his girl like shit but she likes him, even seen online how they sometimes breakup but she still has feelings for him and even gets back with the guy after going through all that. How? Seen this in other relationships too to some extent, where the son is like this to his parents, in all girl friend groups, in siblings. How do some people keep getting love despite their bad behaviours?

Why is so much of the discussion in men's communities focused on physical traits that, at the end, you can never change, so what's the point? And I see so many average looking couples and even ones where the guy is below average in height/face/physique. I've personally always believed that you're personality, characteristics, charisma matter a lot, lot more not just with women but everyone

Saw a thread asking women what they like in men and it's just random stuff in truth they already love them so anything they do is endearing to them. If a guy was a complete stranger personality traits do women find the most attractive? I already know the physical ones, is it like that, that if a guy is pretty enough then the weirdest personalities get overlooked? Women, what really gets you to like a guy when in conversation with him?

There must be something really wrong with me if I can't make any sort of connection or bond with any human whatsoever, not any other guy friends, no rapport with even blood relatives. People are nice to me and we sometimes talk but its all very formal, never evolves into anything deeper. I have tried asking people but they just say "you're fine", "nothing's wrong with you". I'm not asserting this as a fact, so don't get mad at me but I've always thought that women just aren't as much into men, as men are into women. Yes they too feel lonely and want a partner, but they just aren't as desperate. When a guy's outside he finds a lot of women attractive and would be okay with being with any of them, compared to that, women just don't even register men that much. That's the difference, they like men too but not as extremely as much men are into them and how they stress,…

Someone explain this to me, I find it confusing when a friend confesses and the girl doesn't like it, feels betrayed and lied to, but I've never understood why is that bad, i honestly don't, isn't that kinda the natural progression of things, you were great friends, helping each other, have chemistry, like each other's company so seems natural that you both could be a couple. That's why I added the last line, I'm personally very passionate about music and don't do it for a party trick or to impress, but for myself cause I like it
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/23 04:23 PM

I think one way guys can make themselves more attractive is by having a music related skill like singing or an instrument like guitar or drums (not shit like piccolo), look at prince and look at the weeknd, even on this sub I've seen women say that musical skills are attractive. Agree or nah? Although I think you should have a natural interest in it in the first place, doing it just for an ulterior motive like getting girls would be quite sad

What are the best things a guy can do to improve his personality, looks, svm, all of it? Besides "join a gym" and isn't vague like "work on yourself" Edit: besides any sort of surgeries

At the risk of sounding like a r/niceguy™ , I feel like it's true that the more nice you are the more people treat you like shit and take for granted, guys that are jerks, have had habits, did shitty things still have loving friends, family, and a relationship. A lot of their bad habits get ignored cause "thats just how they are" and people are used to it. But when you're nice everyone's expectations are high, make a small mistake and everyone's mad at you. As cringe as it is, i wonder if any gu…

Unironically yes lmfao. But seriously, not exactly a simp but when someone is genuinely and really attracted to everything about you: personality, looks, all the small and big things is what I mean, men rarely receive that kind of enthusiasm from women and obsession towards them is a big turn on and attractive to men, cause of barely ever receiving it

I wonder what percentage of men never get to experience the feeling of a woman absolutely fawning over and romantically infatuated with them. Like for women this is a far more common experience cause men simp, but I feel like a great percentage of men spend their while lives without every getting to experience this

How can one change this aspect of their personality?

Women, what do y'all think of a guy that wears eyeglasses? In terms of attractiveness? Is it ever a negative for you? As a guy that wears them that's my only insecurity. Does it make one come off as a nerd? And can you be attractive with glasses? Any tips for what can someone do to improve their looks while wearing glasses?

Questions for both men and women: If someone has a bland or no personality what can one do to improve it? Similar but if a person is horrible at all social skills and at understanding social cues and situations, how can he improve his social skills? Those that are out of college, how do you meet new people and new friends offline ?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 08:15 AM

Already am lol, not to brag, doesn't help

Idek man, I've had these issues even when I was a confident child, my biggest insecurity is my inability to make any sort of friends, connections and bonds with any person in the world and not getting respect by anyone. I've had this since birth and it makes me doubt myself, my social skills, personality. Very honest I don't even care about women and sex at all, just wish I had a normal friend group or at the least be respected. I was confident as a child but then I kept failing at these 2 thing…

This is helpful cause I've understood that what you wear should say something about yourself instead of the common clothing everyone usually has. But could you answer the same question personality wise rather than looks/dressing? Sorry if too many questions lol

This subs for romantic relationships, but I have trouble making any sort of friendships and connections. I can never connect with any human, feels like I'm one stage below y'all cause atleast you guys have other normal friendships. I just get treated very formally by others. Does this sub allow asking questions about my personal problems for help and advice? And am I allowed to ask/discuss about all other types of platonic friendships and social issues? I could ask on socialskills sub but I've found the takes in this sub are more deeper and varied
