Were in the same situation here except the girl I talk to is at work. I work as a dishwasher in a restaurant and have been talking with a waitress for a while. She's exactly my type and we have plenty of common hobbies but when I asked about her plans on the weekend(hoping to go on a date) she said she was busy. It's completely obvious that she could have been totally busy but I got nervous and changed the subject and now I don't know how to re-approach.

Thanks a lot, a buddy of mine suggested getting sushi so by what you're saying I could do something like sushi, walk around downtown, my place to watch movies right?

I do the same except I keep waiting longer times between each text until things become blatantly obvious( a day, then a week, then a month, then stop) another thing is that after the 2nd or 3rd good convo, I wait till she texts me first.

I'm good at not overtexting just sometimes I make a (albeit small) mistake and then my thoughts just get the best of me. I'm just looking for some tricks to help build confidence in my actions

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
