Ok, 1) Relative asks me to help her set up one of those portable scanners 2) makes a big deal about telling me to read instructions (which leave a lot out) 3) tests me by telling me to charge the scanner with some power adapter that didnt come with the scanner (there's nowhere to even plug it in, it runs off batteries) 4) She apparently expects me to come back and say that the scanner takes batteries. I interpret that as "find a way to make this adapter work or else," especially since she doesn'…

I'm a full time student and live with my father so that had something to do with it. The original quote they gave me was a little over $300 and I only found out it would be free at the consultation. I'm not sure if it's like this in every state.

The part I went to for my consultation looked pretty sketchy, would rather not walk around while sky high on anesthetic if theres' a better option (I probably would have to walk a certain distance to find a hotel)
