"Byrd claimed that jail officers entered his cell and ordered him to remove all of his clothing, except for his thin, jail-issued boxer shorts. He was then ordered to walk to an open common area where 25 to 30 cadets from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Training Academy and 10 to 15 uniformed detention officers were present. Approximately one-third of the officers and cadets were female, Byrd said. Then-cadet Kathleen O’Connell conducted a search of Byrd, during which, Byrd claimed, she cau…

"The prison defended the policy as justified to ensure equal employment opportunities for female guards and for security for violent prisoners. But the appeals panel said there is no evidence yet that detainees were violent or that the policy was put in place not for security but “merely to humiliate pretrial detainees,” Owens said." Here's two women (detectives not nurses, look at the handcuffs on their hips) laughing while giving a man a rape kit (he was falsely accused and exonerated). He was under arrest at the time. He repeatedly asked for men to perform this. Listen to the two women giggle. They apparently pulled over 50 pieces of pubic hair from him with a leatherneck tool. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=duM0khQlaAg

I think busting someone's face open with a weapon deserves a jail sentence. Something like 15 days. 15 days in jail is a LOT longer than people would think, it would serve to teach a lesson, and it wouldn't be destructive.

All of these are despicable. It's like the victims don't matter at all anymore.

Some feminist organizations are pushing for this to be allowed (suspect rape kits) without a warrant, just an arrest. If you refuse, you will be restrained. So pretty much if you get accused/arrested for sexual assault, you're getting sexually assaulted. http://www.mysati.com/enews/June2007/Promising_Practices_6_28_2007.pdf

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
