I definitely see your point but below mentioned about hygiene/style and there is a BIG different between ‘women aren’t as focused on looks as you might think’ to ‘if you don’t shower and dress like a slob she won’t care’. In my experience, I’m definitely in the camp of “looks don’t matter as much as you think”. Yes sexual attraction is important, but I 100% have had sexual attraction to a guy grow over getting to know them. The opposite is true too - when there is a hot guy with a boring persona…

You do realise this would never actually happen. The greens party member was attempting to make a point against politicians who claim that women should not be out at night. No matter what your view on that... the headline is 100% misleading. There is and never will be a curfew for men. It was just an extension of a political debate in parliament.

The murder of this girl is a really serious issue and I knew as soon as I saw a greens party member ‘suggested’ this idea, it was going to overshadow real issues and turn it into click bait headlines trying to rile up conservatives. The party member that suggested this was saying in retaliation to men who often say ‘women shouldn’t be walking home alone at night’ etc. In no way is a 6pm curfew for men anything remotely likely to happen.

DNA tests once they’re born are not invasive, that’s the point. You lightly swab the inside of their cheek and can be done at hospital when you deliver. No brainer for that mom.

She refused due to having to go to a hospital to get it done and unnecessary risk of COVID to her and baby. She doesn’t mention where she is but if she was in somewhere like New York that would have been a stupidly risky thing to do in an already over crowded, virus riden facility. She was wise to wait, and he should have supported that. I’m glad the courts will get involved in this one.

I'm a woman and I make a CHOICE not to use pads or tampons. The tax is on GOODS AND SERVICES, not on 'luxury' items. It's not like their taxing Chanel Bags, BMW's and Tampons. The only exceptions are absolutely essential items. I mean 100% essential. Tampons are NOT essential. If toothpaste, toilet paper and tissues are taxed, tampons should be too as they fall into this category of personal hygiene products.

I'm an Australian woman and this shit annoys me SO much! It seems an issue in the UK and US too. Firstly, any feminists calling taxing tampons a "Tax for being a woman" is WRONG. So fucking wrong. It is a goods and services tax! It's on everything except absolute essentials. Secondly, any feminists claiming "Well tampons ARE essential" is also wrong. I don't use tampons, I use a divacup. And even when I did use pads or tampons, I would use them sparingly and sometimes made do with other things. …

As a child from divorced parents I can tell you money ain’t everything. Not by a long shot.

Agreed! $1000 extra per month is not enough to raise a child alone as a parent. At least where I live. If that child isn’t in school yet, it will need daycare while the mother works which can be hundreds per month alone. Along with having an extra bedroom in the home for the child, activities expenses, extra food. I live in California, the difference between a 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartment can be close to $1000. $32000 is ridiculous I agree, but people sometimes forget that if the woman gave…

This is right. I think if you’re earning a crap ton of money, child support should be more expensive because if you were still together you would probably spend a lot on the kid anyway. Nice home, expensive activities, expensive school. $32,000 is a fuck ton though, but a divorced man who earns $10million a year dropping $20k on a pair of shoes should not be spending only $1000 a month supporting his kid. Particularly if the wife gave up her career to raise the kids in the early days so he could…

So true. Probably they have compiled some kind of statistics from how many people have claimed they were raped vs how many times they went to the police over it. It may not seem like it, but for many people, the overwhelming lack of evidence to prove they were raped forces many away from going to the police. Or maybe they simply do not want to for whatever reason. And completely agree about the ‘proven innocent’ line by OP. You can be spared from jail by the prosecutor failing to prove beyond re…

Dude, i've won this discussion, everyone agrees. Get yourself some help if you feel so personally attacked by a random comment. Good night.

Lol ok. You’re obviously not the brightest and are not even reading anything people are saying so I’ll just make it clear: The ‘insane’ people are the ones who don’t consider someone thrusting and grunting at someone in public a crime and are proceeding to argue about it. 🙄 Everyone here agrees with this and this is a ‘mens right’ sub. End of story.

I’ve not mentioned feminism or women’s right once. Not even once. It is everybody’s right to feel safe in public. Everyone’s. Men and women. It’s clear you’re not the brightest and not really reading what I’m saying and just pushing your own story so good luck lol. End of discussion.

You are deeply disturbed if you think people don’t have the right to feel safe in public. This one line completely obliterated your argument... you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. End of story.

OK so it appears you're going down the unintelligent route of just bringing up random outlier cases to 'catch me out' on points i'm making. Harassment isn't black and white like that which is why cases can be controversial sometimes. Sure, if you could prove to a court beyond reasonable doubt that someone wearing a t-shirt made you feel threatened or unsafe then go for it. Harassment in public is pinpointing an individual or group, engaging in someone kind of interaction with them where the inte…

When someone feels threatened or unsafe. We have a reasonable right to feel safe in public

I'm a woman and trust me I'm the first person to role my eyes at some of the shit people claim as 'sexual harassment'. But thrusting and grunting at someone on public transport is not okay... it just makes them feel unsafe and threatened. It's creepy and weird af and i'd question the mental state of someone who did that. It's the same as if someone was swearing loudly at you for no reason in public. It can still be considered harassment even if they don't touch you.
