"explain why you hold this view" is now propaganda?

Also I was more so making the point that they assume that’s what people are doing when they have genital preferences. That's what I clarified. That's the ridiculous part. The rejection itself isn't necessarily saying "genitals = gender". But if they did imply that, then it would be transphobic.

very cool series of letters you've typed onto the internet here, 3 day old account

Depends on the reason. If the reason is transphobic, then it's transphobic. Kind of redundant. Regardless, the solution isn't "force yourself to fuck a trans person", because it's not like that cures transphobia anyway.

it’s transphobic to attach genitals to gender Well that actually is, it's denying someone's gender based off their biology. The "that's all genital preferences are" part is the ridiculous part. Like if a gay dude wouldn't date a cis man who had his dick blown off, it's not the gender that's the issue, it's the lack of genitalia. Cis or trans is irrelevant.

only the youngest generations of girls are transitioning in droves? Why do you think this? The rate of trans people does not change that significantly by age, it's around 0.6% varying by like 0.1%. The highest estimates for the youngest generation is around 1.3%. That is not an unprecedented increase. The gay population "increased" by a much greater degree with societal acceptance. If you're just talking about specifically people assigned female at birth over people assigned male at birth, what …

People have to choose to view "phobias" that way. I think the vast majority of people are transphobic. I'm a trans person and I think I'm transphobic. Acknowledging it and making efforts to not perpetuate it is the decent thing to do, so the next generations aren't brought up with the same biases. That's how the majority of social progress is made. Informing someone that they're being bigoted doesn't have to be some judgment of irredeemable evil. In fact, viewing it that way is what prevents peo…

It reduces people to their effects That's the only thing that matters though. Having good intentions doesn't reduce the harm of your actions. Maybe it means you're more likely to change those actions in the future, but that doesn't change what's already happened.

Those opinions of trans people are just unpopular/controversial But they aren't, they're highly upvoted here. No one asked for censorship, they're noting that anti-trans sentiments are very popular. Someone posted earlier about healthcare issues for trans men and every comment with a positive threshold was just calling trans men women.

"Tall women aren’t real women. They’re tall women, which is why we call them tall women" "Gay women aren’t real women. They’re gay women, which is why we call them gay women" This can be done with any adjective and equally makes no sense. Like feel free to disagree with someone, just don't use a moronic justification for it.

Okay? You can call them whatever you want. They still exist. Non-binary and genderfluid people would in the same sense have brain chemistry that is not typical of male or female patterns.

Wrong, genderfluidity is fiction, transpeople are either a man who has the brain chemistry of a woman or the other way around, there's no in-between If intersex people can have ambiguous sex traits, what makes you think neurological sexual dimorphisms couldn't as well?

Anyone who thinks this is genuine is insane lol. This is such blatant anti-trans false flagging propaganda. Just tried reverse image searching it, it was made by /pol/ https://pl.smuglo.li/notice/9lsZf6EaO0sMJEtR9U google search is full of pol links Like seriously "because of hatred". You think this is what progressive language sounds like? This was made by someone with the mental capabilities of a child.

You'll be happy to know the vast majority of trans people don't believe this and it's a false flag meme to make them seem ridiculous and unreasonable. https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/cqfb32/fight_delusion/eww72xf/

Says who? If something is a possibility then it absolutely does happen. It's pretty ignorant to just assume no ones gonna change their minds. We're not assuming no one's gonna change their minds. We're assuming less than 2% will change their minds and therefore the treatment is necessary for helping the vast majority of trans people, because that's what all data shows. Except it doesn't because the pure definition of phantom limb is that it ONLY happens in amputees Lol, because of some vague wor…

That person is screwed if they ever have a change of heart. That doesn't really happen, so again, I think we'll keep the incredibly effective treatment going despite the hypothetical that maybe the gender dysphoria just goes away. Phantom limb happens when you lose something you ALREADY had Except it can happen to people born without limbs as well... Reality and science dont care about morals and people's feelings. The reality is we want people to not kill themselves or live with debilitating de…

Your "physical alteration" is to make that person incompetent and never able to reproduce. Well the pre-transition suicide attempt rate is roughly 40%... so I think being sterile is a fine alternative for most. Your body is what it should be, anything in your mind telling you it isnt is a disease Do you think phantom limb syndrome is a mental disease? Is treating it by mirroring a healthy limb "being delusional"? Even if so, gender dysphoria is alleviated through transitioning. Why would the mos…

Transgender people transition to alleviate gender dysphoria. Whatever you decide to call it or not call it in terms of "changing gender/sex" is irrelevant. Physically altering sex traits alleviates gender dysphoria very effectively. The "help" you're saying they need is the therapeutic avenue tried for decades with no success.

what the fuck are you doing in a sub called PUSSYPASSDENIED? Because this shits nice and I believe in men's rights too lol. "I never met such people, therefore they don't exist" I mean more like, "You're view of this subject likely isn't accurate" yeah. If I've met more TRAs than you have and you've only heard about their opinions secondhand, then I probably have a more realistic view of them than you. Unless you can offer some statistical evidence, all either of us has is anecdotal evidence. DS…

I am an SJW/TRA. I know of none that hold the notions you claim they do. It sounds more like you're misrepresenting their views, even if only unintentionally because the sources you hear them from are biased. stop trying to normalize a mental illness This is disingenuous though. "normalizing a mental illness" just reeks of misinformation and propaganda. As if the universally agreed upon medical treatment for gender dysphoria isn't transitioning.

No one's saying "no true trans person" would think this. The point is there are assholes and idiots everywhere, that's the point of not generalizing groups of people. Focusing on the fact that they're trans rather than they're being an idiot is the issue. If a black man is caught shoplifting and you're response is, "this needs to be sorted out by the black community" as if people are some monolithic hive mind connected by skin tone, that's ridiculous. Why are you making this about a trait like r…

Seems like kind of an extreme measure rather than just saying "we won't cover costs of medication". If the only issue for diabetes is the cost, then I'd argue the same for that...
