I mean, my parents are from India but I was born and raised in Texas :) I generally have the choice of what I want to do (arranged vs. love) but my parents only requirement is that whoever I marry is Indian and Hindu. 3	Help with career? Generally our family does arranged marriages; it takes away from the family approval part. Let me explain how our family (and how most) do arranged marriages: When the girl is of age, usually between 22-25, and the guy is between 25-30, sometimes a little older, families will set up meetings with other families to meet the kids. My sister was in a sorority and met her best friends through it, but they also partied a lot. 1	Teenage girl who wants to take the red pill! Awesome tips, thanks so much! With the clothing, would you say that my usual summer/spring (Texas) attire of athletic shorts is too casual? I do switch it up with jean shorts for different occasions, sometimes a breezy dress. My parents are semi-strict so I never have my ass hanging out or anything. Also, hygiene is like my #1 thing haha!
