The problem is more likely your autism. That being said yes online dating will be tough being asian and especially at your height. Also obviously online dating is heavily dependent on physical appearance (face especially) and quality of photos. I have a buddy who is short asian and jacked and average looking did well on the apps and found his gf on tinder. But he had an amazing profile with amazing photos. Easy experiment is post your photos on photofeeler. If you arent scoring above a 9 on attr…

Yep, there was a study done in the UK showing the most swiped ethnicity on dating apps was indian. Have to take these studies with a massive grain of salt. On average sure white men are going to have an advantage in most things in life including dating. That doesn’t mean you cant also have success as a minority male. Just have to work harder, be better, be more persistent/rejection-proof, etc

As an ethnic minority, you should not be using dating apps unless you look like a model. They are geared more towards women, and towards tall attractive white men. If you are ethnic I think you have to leverage social circle and cold approach.

Thats all good and well but that line of thinking wont get you a girlfriend. Ive thought like that most of my life and am a 27 year old virgin in surgery residency. So most likely i will be a virgin when i graduate residency given how brutal it is with a lack of time. That wont be until 34 years old. I agree focus on everything else first before focusing on girls. But if you dont think about how to approach girls at all, you will likely end up an old age virgin. Unless you are hot enough where g…

Its not an intricate science its a learnable skill. Its mostly just talking to people authentically and being in touch with your emotions. If you dont want to learn that skill, then dont. My point is that if you want to get good with women and are willing to put in work, you absolutely can have success. I think the youtube channel “social animal” can help you kill your limiting beliefs and help show you how simple it can be. And btw he has said that almost all of his subscribers who get numbers …

The whole value thing is bs. Most dudes undervalue themselves and put women on a pedestal and that makes it harder. The other person is just a person as are you. You are connecting with them like a person. Thats what matters. The moment you think they’re somehow better than you, you have already lost. I know lots of guys who date women who look better than them. They dont give a damn about what their number is, they know they are more than good enough.

I'm no expert but I've heard it being said like this - women are like an oven they need time to preheat and be turned on. Men are more like a light switch - they just turn on automatically. Basically you want to be extremely confident when interacting. If it is a situation where you will see this girl often and she may be embarrased, then you get to know her a couple times (i.e. at the gym or a class) before asking her out. If it is daytime cold approach, you express your intent with a simple ge…

Idk if you're still on reddit, but if you want advice with dating please do not use reddit. You will get a bunch of advice ranging the gamut from good to bad to ugly. I'm similar to you, posted a similar post, and got similar advice - some good, some bad, some ugly. Really only 2 or 3 people gave me the advice I really needed. Instead of posting on Reddit to get help, I would first just focus on yourself and your inner confidence. You seem to lack it, which you need to fix. You are by your accou…

I highly do not recommend this, but if that is what you want to do go ahead. Just make sure to delete it before it starts to get to your head. I had a similar plan as you, and yeah that did not end well. I still have not recovered from my experience on there. Just be careful. I hope you find success on there, and if you do, know that it not you and that it is common for most guys to not have success on the apps. They are not designed for guys to succeed on there and very few guys do succeed. All…

I really do not recommend online dating apps unless you are a top 1-5 percent guy in terms of looks. Tall, chiseled, model-like face, preferably white. The type of guy where if you walk into a room eyes turn and women are drawn to you and flirt a lot openly with you even if you dont show much interest or havent said anything. If you are not that type of guy, i do not recommend online dating. It will ruin your confidence, which is the most important thing from what i have seen for being successfu…

Im sure its easier than a lot of places, but there are many guys who cant get dates even in NYC. The fact that you can already puts you at an advantage. You gotta think highly of yourself because clearly women do find you attractive at least initially. Just have to focus on building on that, and not ovethinking

I dont think living in nyc has much to do with it. You have to focus on what you can control. I get zero dates in nyc. Many men are like me and get absolutely zero. You are way ahead of the curve and clearly have a lot going for you looks-wise. You just have to work on your confidence and not overthinking things. Have fun on the dates. Be funny. Enjoy her company and show her that you do. Do fun things together. Idk man im no expert but if i got dates, those are the things i would do. Instead of…

??? Thats a good thing dude. If you really want to pay just insist in paying and tell her you can split next time. In a positive way of course. You’re in your own head. The fact you can get hinge dates is a clear sign you’re a goodlooking dude and have good text game. Have confidence and be assertive. Have fun and enjoy the dates. Believe in yourself.

Honestly nobody know dude. If people really knew the answers to these questions, the pickup industry wouldnt be as massive as it was and there wouldn’t be entire subreddits devoted to helping men figure out how to talk to women/find a girlfriend/etc

Sons typically take after their mothers’ height. It would be very difficult for you to have tall sons (if you define tall as being at least 6 foot) unless you end up with a guy who is at least 6’4 and who himself has very tall relatives both female and male. Most short guys have short moms, not short dads. Many short guys actually have tall dads. Tall guys typically have taller moms. This isnt always the case but is usually true.

Emed rotations are easy. Usually like 7 am - 5 or 6 pm, pretty standard. Hardest are surgery rotations. Just work constantly and on weekends. Typically you do have time to sleep though

Damn. I mean im a normal indian dude(not a fob) and i have no success with women. Online is a ghost town. I know several dudes who have it similar to me. Although my friends who arent indian do fine. Do you have your online profile posted anywhere? Im curious how good you look. Im probably average looking myself, get no matched online despite high quality pics

Med students do work in the hospital so it makes sense she has scrubs. Im just saying as a med student soon to resident myself, there is a huge difference between us and residents and then attending physicians. I guess for dating its irrelevant though. Where are you from where short indian dudes slay? Lol. I live in a large American city and was born and raised in America, have had a large diverse group of friends throughout my life, and short Indian dudes rarely slay, and especially not online.…

lol first of all theres a huge difference between a med student a resident and a physician. She's a med student. Second of all dude you gotta keep your cool and not text her walls of texts. thats a huge turn off to women. Keep things short and to the point. But regardless thats good for you! Glad to hear things went well. I am absolutely amazed that as a short indian dude you met an attractive woman on online dating. You must be a great guy yourself with killer pictures and insanely good looks. …

I think with the shift to online dating, the chad effect has become more pronounced. Typically to be successful on online dating as a guy, you gotta be tall, handsome in the face, white (or at least not indian), and have a nice body. Online dating is one of the most popular ways to meet now, and women have a tremendous upper hand in online dating just due to how picky they are. So I do think the chad effect is becoming more pronounced.

Women have always been more picky than men, that is just basic biology.

Just curious, when you say you’ve tried have you actually tried asking women out? Building a connection with them? Just curious what is going on here when you say you’ve been trying for all these years but cannot get a date. I understand being a short indian man is not ideal, but I have friends like that who do fine. How many women have you genuinely connected with through conversation and then out of those how many did you ask out? Have you considered dating coaches? You say you have a law degr…

If you are good looking, average to above average height, white dude it works very well. Even if you have those characteristics and are non white it will still work decently well. If you arent good looking and average to above average height, its going to be rough. Just my experience and what ive seen from friends.
