I know this is far from scientific but I think principal skinner on the simpsons might be an example. Men who are people pleasers may have had domineering or narcissistic mothers - they have an unusually enmeshed relationship with their mother, and never had the opportunity to rebel or separate from them.

Sometimes girls don't know what they're giving you. My ex would always listen to my bullshit and not just give one word answers, she said yes when I asked her to study (after we broke up the first time), then she invited me over to watch a movie at her place, then I tried to sit next to her, then she moved. Pushy behaviors are learned though (I noticed I basically do the same things my parents do to me). Abusive behaviors (don't take that the wrong way) are learned. It's not a mental illness. I'…

I think the key is knowing who you are and the things you enjoy, the stuff that interests you, whoever you might be, and to let that come out naturally. If you're confident and love things about yourself it will shine through. Canned approaches don't work. You'll come across as fake. I think inner game is what's important first, then just be you and strut your stuff. Coming out and saying I really like you is just kind of lame in my opinion.

It kind of ruins the fun sometimes, being direct, doesn't it? Make the moves, do some kino. These days it seems like you can do one of two things... You can either be nice and storgic (friendship) or you go straight for the sex. Where's the story? Where's the build up? Where's the seduction? I think there's more fun to be ha…

I don't like planning my interactions. I never do actually and I remember someone saying on here that it's not good idea to rehearse a script with an imaginary girl as that's not how things work in reality. I thought it was good advice though I think there's rhythm or a flow to most interactions - opener, build rapport, etc. I do tend to suffer from catastrophic thinking in all areas of my life. Anxiety is also a problem. I've done a few cold approaches though, they went well for the most part t…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
