FWIW, I know one homeless guy who dates the hottest girl in town. True story. The girl is basically MET model material and intelligent to boot. Guy doesn't look any different from a hobo you'd see on TV. Edit: And no it's nothing to do with drugs. Edit2: What _ clifton _ said.

Not true IMO. A secure woman would want quality sex (and nothing more). You're describing a woman who is insecure by definition (about money). The money issue does not apply in some societies.

I've seen you push for emotional connections in some comments. That's what I try for as well. But the girls I connect solidly with still do not seem to see me as sexual partner material (and I am being sexual with them with eye contact etc) So, I'm left scratching my head on what women base their decisions on, and that's after nearly six months down this road and a ton of reading/going out every night. Any advice?

theestranger, in your experience how does a guy transition from being interesting to being desired? I've got interesting/interested down pat and can get girls talking to me quite a bit, but I also usually get rejected when I go to ask for a date or try to get them home. I got one girl saying she didnt feel the passion even though she'd opened up to me quite a bit. Is that something you/girls usually filter on?

This presumes that women decide who they will sleep with based on personality. It's far more complicated than that. What you've described doesn't work/exist. Since personality includes things like being fun or outgoing or alpha or not giving a fuck, which are all supposed to be attractive qualities, what exactly do you mean by that statement?

Commitment is liberating, not confining. For seddit, I'd change this and say "Rejection is liberating, not confining". Women sort of lose their power over your thoughts once you've been rejected (completely/thoroughly) by them. This frees you up to approach more women. That's why it's always better to make your intentions explicit as soon as possible and either get rejected or get the go ahead. Also, the more women reject you, the less important it turns out to have been. Edit: Also, while on he…

Your problem may be that Lisa thinks flirting with you is normal. She may have gotten this idea by you flirting with her but still not making a "move". You can just explain to her that now that she's with John, you don't feel comfortable flirting anymore and would like more distance. Then you go find 10 other women.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
