I mentioned this in another reply but I know a guy who had the same thing happen (not sure when it happened but when I met him in HS he was bald). He's very popular with the ladies due to his chill but confident nature, genuinely one of my favorite people.

I actually know a bald guy that gets mad pussy because he's incredibly confident and unphasable. He's a big inspiration to me.

It might convey a belief of lower self-value. Depends on the girl, and of course, how you say it. Personally I stay away from that sort of thing.

Thanks for all the comments so far guys. You all gave be the balls to compliment a redheaded girl on her hair as I walked by, which I think is allowed since we both have it. I only got to see her initial split second taken aback reaction, but once she registered my hair hopefully she took it positively / humorously.

I didn't wear the polo for that purpose to begin with, but once everyone started looking at me, it turned into a test. I actually do believe it looked good on me, minus being oversized. Yes, you're right about the insecurity. I try not to let it affect me, and I think I do it pretty well. What I have a problem with is that girls will see it happen. No girl wants to be with a guy that gets called names. And if I'm with a girl and it happens, I don't quite know what will happen.

I think it was Tyler Durden who said "If you can't fix it flaunt it." And i do put product in it from time to time as to say yeah it's red and I know you're looking at it, and I'm wearing it with style. Not that I expect everyone to get that exact message, but at least a sense of me being confident. Also it just makes it look better sometimes.

I've seen his posts, didn't know he was a mod. And yeah I agree, I'm trying to figure out things for being a guy with red hair

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
