–	looks do matter Stop lying to yourself. I (29F) get what you're saying, but I would say that looks get you the attention, but aren't enough to sustain interest in the longer term (ie. dating and relationships). If we're only talking hookups, I'd agree with you, but otherwise, I find that personality and genuinely liking yourself/having confidence in who you are affects how attractive you come across.
