Ok thank you. There are a couple guys my age at the meetings im going to ask if they want to start hanging out. Hopefully exposure training helps. I've been rejected before and it felt like punch in the stomach lol. Thank you for taking time to reply to me.

Ok thank you for the tip. The only place im really around women is at the gym. I go to 12 step meetings but I want to stay away from that as a girl I slept with was there tonight and I need my meetings as a safe space. Thank you again

I know it has. I kept people away to keep myself safe but now it is not keeping me safe but miserable. I said Hi and introduced myself to a girl walking next to me today amd asked what she was lifting on. My heart was beating out of my chest. It seemed like sje wasnt that interested in talking so I left her alone after that. Im happy I did it because its progress for me. Hopefully it gets easier. Thanks for your response. I had close friends growing up but I had to get clean for myself and they are the type of people that are able to use drugs and alcohol and unfortunately I cant hang with them anymore
