I understand. I'm in uni near exams myself - probably better forgotten. But I think a lawyer would do all that, that's what they're there for: they represent the most inept clients, clients are not expected to do or study or research anything.

That's fine, trust me. There's maybe 4 maybe 10, not hard to find your tape, it's not like it's 100 buses. It's more about it you have the willingness to go through with it, you might get closure. I would seek a no win no fee lawyer, they handle everything.

If you know the bus number and time the company will know which bus it was, this is not an issue. You can contact a lawyer that will only charge if you win the case.
