To my Aussie brain it can mean sexual advance, or just pushing a boundary. Swooping magpies are trying you on mate.

I tried to read into NPD a bit, mostly after reading the sub /raisedbynarcissists, but none of if ever explained this with the clarity that you do here. Hence I would be very grateful if you could link to some literature that you recommend. edit: typo

I suspect there may be many in her boat. And what she would have said if she were being completely honest (and had the insight to see it) is that she's worried about fake alphas, and she's here to improve her chances of spotting a fake alpha. I would not blame her. However, it's good that once identified, she's out.

I agree with this, very pragmatic. You make a great distinction between two different interpretations or genres of MGTOW thinking. I could easily see any philosophically minded person who reads into it becoming hung up on the paradox of 'taking pussy off the pedestal' in order to get... pussy. If you allow yourself to worry about it, you can get into a loop easily. MGTOW can seem like a way out of this loop.

One of the strategies of feminism and their political-correctness-movement allies is to make a big fuss about being offended. It is one of the mainstays of the victim mentality they utilise. It has been mentioned here before that the victim mentality and being offended is a strategy that works well for feminists but cannot be expected to work well for men and championing rights for men. This is probably because men are perceived as being the stronger of the two sexes and if you're the group beli…

I agree. I wish to add though that if she brings up the daughter thing of her own accord do not ignore the information this gives you about her character when assessing her for LTR material or someone you might want to have children with. No need to engage in a discussion though.

The most satisfying response would be the girlfriend (or even the 16 year old girlfriend, if access to a time machine could be had) telling this woman exactly how she can shove it.

Arguably the whole redpill is just the prevail of commonsense against a lack of it instilled by incorrect notions from feminists, political correctness and excessive sentimentality.

In the fossil record, we see a thing called punctuated equilibrium. Things tend to remain unchanged for a while (equilibrium) then suddenly change. So I suspect this change, if it occurs, will happen somewhat quickly.

Damn it, I watched that same documentary years ago and I didn't have the insight to see that at the time. I felt like there were some weird/unwise women out there. But I didn't think along the lines of what it said about women in general. Another other interesting thing about Bundy is that he stated he believes violent pornography was one of the major things that influenced his development into a serial killer/rapist. Unfortunately in the interview I saw he didnt' specify what this meant. He cou…

The number of axons (unidirectional information pathways for those not familiar) going from the brainstem to the frontal lobe is far, far greater than the number of axons going from the frontal lobe to the brainstem. The frontal lobe is where the higher functions and reasoning are located (that and other parts of the cerebral cortex). The emotions, however, are things of the brainstem, the more primitive and animal part of the brain. This is why even if you practice 'mindfulness', and are aware …

You're right. However, only someone really dense would use the term ownership of her sexuality, although I guess if that's the term feminists bring up then you have to use it. Just stress it's a voluntary sale I suppose. And point out she owns your sexuality too. Or don't talk to feminists.

IMHO if you're doing it every single day with no off days per week, it's too much. I have seen scientific studies tracking testosterone and stuff, but they never come up with any really solid recommendations other than 'probably don't do it so much but a bit is fine'. No fap is too far, again only IMHO. Mind you no-fap works really well if you're in a relationship with a woman and getting laid regularly, but I don't think that's the target audience for that movement.

Once you understand a lot of the side bar material and then try to go back and watch much porn, you'll be amazed how much propaganda there is. Sure there's not much about mainstream political issues, but things like white-guilt, feminist concepts, hangups about sex, nationalism or pride for whatever group, rivalry between different groups (groups can be whatever, black vs white, rich vs poor, small dicked vs big dicked, nerds vs jocks, old vs young, anything). Masturbating to porn is bad for you as it can develop into an addiction and result in trouble with real sex, not to mention a lot of porn has subtle propaganda in it. Masturbating without porn is only bad if it's either excessive in nature (in which case it can have an effect on hormones and so on) or if it is being used as a form of procrastination.

You have said some logical things there, however, your frame is not one of self improvement. Your frame seems to be one of excusing negative behaviour. monsieurhire2's key point is that it is possible through use of self control to overcome these impulses. Most people suck and most end up promiscuous and fat. You seem to be saying 'yeah, it's ok to suck' Or 'yeah, being promiscuous isn't that bad' or 'somehow being promiscuous is more excusable than some other bad things' All that is irrelevant.…

It's sometimes just better to know than to not know, you know? If you truly don't value sex, you are free, a natural MGTOW. A Francis of Assisi motherfucker. You don't need the redpill. Go forth and engineer something amazing. Somehow though, the tone of your rant implies that you are not at this vanishingly rare Zen like place in life. If you didn't use a condom, go to a GP or family physician and get a simple set of sexual health tests done. If you are in a conservative area/family etc do so without them knowing. Now that you have seen the red flags, yes, obviously, next her. Do not let her know why though, no final talks where you explain yourself of your view of her, simply say 'sorry it's over', do some minor deescalation if she makes a scene, and go no contact. The things I think the article got right: It describes MGTOW accurately, in particular explaining they are not a movement that aims to motivate a large group towards a collective goal unlike feminism etc, but rather a group of individuals who have decided to change their own direction in life externally to what ever their environment is. It brings together various facts in a useful way to inform the reader about MGTOW. I praise the writer for digging around and finding out about past mens moveme…

It would be useful to make a list of the most common false narratives played out that are presented to us. The first few I can think of are: the myth of the noble savage domestic violence is all men's fault and mostly committed by men. many women want to be programmers/engineers but just can't because, well some strange reason that isn't their fault, bless them. western culture is somehow not as good at raising children, especially young children, as others. eastern mysticism is somehow fairer/m…

I haven't come across anything to describe such women in the redpill literature yet, but I can tell you my personal experience: At science faculties in research universities there are some women like this, they are basically beta males in female bodies, doing beta male stuff. At different periods in my life I've had various different requirements for sleep and so on. Try getting a little more, but not heaps more, maybe 7 hours, and see if after a few days of doing that consistently you feel a lot better. If not, only 6 hours is perfectly possible for someone who is healthy and of the right age group.

Yes, if you have a reduction in the space behind the mandible, you may be prone to obstructive sleep apnoea and other disorders. These can be very bad for your general health (sleeping issues can screw up just about every single other aspect of your health). I hope any surgeon you discuss this with will go through these things with you.

I don't know about the modern day, but I do know that if you look at the genetic diversity of the Y chromosome (which is carried only down the male line) it has less diversity than the rest of the human genome, implying that over time less men have successfully mated than women, i.e. we have less male ancestors than female ancestors. As for what solid evidence exists for the 20/80 split today, I think some data may be available from sites like facebook or dating sites, they do release studies fr…

Yes, IMHO, if they are going there for male attention. I suppose there may be cases where a girl who is not craving male attention might still frequent parties and clubs, perhaps following a close friend or relative or being in some other support role (someone who goes a lot to be 'the driver' and doesn't drink). They should be easy to identify from their attitude and potentially more subdued dress sense. They are also very, very rare.

I am glad you understand me, I hope I understand you. I guess it takes balls and a lot of self belief to return to the boyhood state of really wanting awesome things just because they are awesome. I look up a lot to my friends who have done science PhDs. They learn a lot and force the boundaries of human knowledge out. A somewhat meta fact comes into play that answers your question here by transcending it. If you pursue what you have stated are your serious career goals and hobbies, and are successful in that, including success by degrees only, then in the process of so doing you will become more attractive to women. Even if the hobbies are not things that are classically associated with high SMV; owning them will mean your self-esteem increases, you will become more of a self interested guy, as you will see m…

No matter where you are, the 'redpill' attitude involves accepting the truth for what it is, no matter how unpleasant or how it makes you feel. If you're feeling like you're further behind than some others, so be it, there is much value to be had in appreciating the truth. Being able to accept where you're at will enable you to move forward much better than trying to move forward while still trying to maintain the 'false comfort' of letting yourself think things aren't as bad as they really are.…

There is no reason why you can't date someone who is not a university student, it may even help you stay more focused at university because you aren't concerned with the women there in the slightest. I'm not american so I don't know how the social scene goes on there, but perhaps it would be easy for a university student to impress and go out with someone going down a non-academic path.

Are you saying a small group of people (most likely not feminists but rather businessmen) will wrest control of this technology and sell it to us one little bit at a time and this will keep things much the same so no real paradigm shift in the fabric of society will occur? if so I agree that this is a likely scenario.

Asimov wrote about this. Read 'foundation and earth' or any of the Elijah Bailey stories where he deals with the Spacers, or any thing about the solarians and 'caves of steel'. TL:DR A group of humans with robots to do everything for them evolve into a form where they are disgusted to be in physical proximity to one another and only communicate by video uplink. Reproduction for them becomes an issue and they end up 100-200 people per planet with literally 10,000 robots each.

Apologies for not being clear. What I ask is this: when someday girl 3 comes along and hears from me or from girl 1 or 2 how things have been in the past, I think you and I agree that she will be looking for a natural alpha, someone who just gets it. What abdada said makes good sense. However, if for whatever reason you really are stuck inside with them and can't go out, just read a book, but make sure you actually read it. You may find it hard to read solidly with their voices going, but still just look at the page and don't look up all the time like you're following what they say. If the book is good enough you might get lost in it and truly zone out of whatever conversation they are having near you.
