I agree with this. I'm an international teacher so right now I'm living in a new country where I have few friends. With COVID, it's even worse because I can't go out and meet people outside where I work. I ended up connecting with people my age (of which there are few, most of the women are 40+ and have kids). We all do the same job btw. Three of the people my age are guys, and one is a girl. And she is a pickmeisha EXTREME, in all ways. She only cares about male attention, is a doormat, is comp…

It's all an act. Like yeah, there are definitely people in happy relationships and that's great. I do sometimes get a little jealous. But when I read a friend's post on Facebook or insta where she "can't wait to marry the man of her dreams..." And meanwhile I know in our group chat she's bitched about him being a man child and arguing constantly (when they're not even married yet) and she's given up so much of her life to move with him for his job, and she's working shitty jobs she hates to stay…

You're probably right. I'm hesitant to go deeper into a relationship because of these occurrences... I had no feelings for this guy but I was still disappointed because he seemed great... Can't imagine what it would be like to be dating someone for months or years and they turn out to have another SO... Maybe I should just give up

Omg this was me and the last guy I was seeing. I thought he was funny and endearing at first, but around my friends I realized he said things that were just downright whack and embarrassing, and then we ran out of things to talk about one-on-one and I realized he was a dumbass. Thanks to FDS I broke it off because I was ashamed to have even been with him.

Dana Donnelly is HILARIOUS, would recommend following her on Twitter, she's a comedienne and roasts men all the time

Lol I lived in Spain for years and this is typical, men 30+ still living with mommy or going home for her cooking every weekend, can't do a thing themselves. Also many Spanish women tend to have kids later so his "if you're 35+ sorry!" is a joke, many of my colleagues had children at 40. Not that anyone should even want to have a child with this piece of work. Next!

I'm still stuck on being in love with my best male friend who, since I moved back to my home country, has become way less of a friend and barely ever reaches out. I wish it didn't bother me! It bothers me on a friendship level and also because I have strong feelings for him. I KNOW he doesn't return those feelings but any guy I meet I just compare to him. It's been nearly a year and I'm worried I'll be stuck on him forever. I know the behaviour is bad (mine), I just don't know what to do! How ca…

Thank-you. This is a great idea. I will browse it!! Honestly I would rate myself right now a 5/10. Maybe even a 4. I am definitely overweight, my skin escaped me (randomly went bad like last year, been trying ever since to fix it), low self esteem, frumpy. I need to improve my confidence. Step by step I will get there. Thank you for the tips and links!

Thank you. This is a great comment and hell yeah sis do I know the struggle.... we can get there! But you're right. I've been pitying myself. My friends are HVW because they have been going to the gym regularly, eating well, educated themselves on the right hair and clothes and makeup for themselves... so NOW they are gorgeous and attracting tonnes of guys (HVM and LVM alike). I'm comparing my day one to their year 3, and I know I can get there too. I tend to just give up lately because I feel u…

You're right, I still do think that way. I've been like this for YEARS. And it may take me years to get out of it. This is a great comment though, thank you

Ugh I feel this! A friend of mine just recently got back with her ex. It was months of "he hurt me, I was at my lowest point, he abused me, never again" and then she hung out with him after like 6 months and was like "aww but I missed him and he said he's thought about it a lot and is sorry" girl WHAT haha no matter how low my self esteem is I'm making a pledge to leave LVM in the dust this year. I can't lie, I was a pickmeisha too, but I've never taken back a piece of shit ex just because I was…

I know it works for some, but for me, it was awful. Tried the patch and a few different pill brands. I got debilitating anxiety and depression for the first time in my life, my boobs hurt all the time, and I was always irritable. My boyfriend at the time (bye to LVM!) was mad when I went off birth control and insisted I go back on it OR that we go without a condom and just "buy plan B" and he'd pay. Men, PLAN B IS NOT BIRTH CONTROL. It also comes with side effects (bleeding, pain, cramps, fucked…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
