To me it sounds like this girl had an emotional reason that she didn't want to go on a second date and then found a rational way to explain it. I wouldn't take that reason at face value, I'd think back and try to figure out at what point the date "off."

If you feel bad about it don't do it. It's entirely up to you whether or not this is something you are comfortable with. But if you're not 100% comfortable with it, then you're going to subcommunicate that and it's going to be a bad time. So figure it out and then proceed without second guessing yourself.

Yeah, I'd say because of the distance you just have to be really careful about how often you see here. And you probably have to overcompensate for the fact that you'll see her randomly too. Once a week or more and you're in feelings land.

I don't like coffee and I always do a cafe near my place. After 45 minutes or so if it is going well, stand up and say "let's take a walk." Then I stop by my place to drop of my stuff. Once she's inside I offer the tour and hopefully she no longer cares that we were going on a walk. Also matrix2000 is spot on about doing something you like.

(From a Lance Mason product): Just go up to her and say "So I've been thinking a lot about our relationship lately." Introduce yourself. If she's smiling at you, YOU HAVE THE GREEN LIGHT. You don't need an excuse to sit next to her. Just do it.

I don't game at parties but here's what I would try: As he's approaching I would introduce myself to him, and then introduce the two of them. He can't really scoop her if I'm in charge of the conversation. Timing is tricky here so if I'm not on the ball I could easily miss my window. If it seems like I could pull it off I would hold her hand or introduce her as my girlfriend. If I miss my chance to introduce, then I would engage him in conversation. If he's 100% blocking me, the girl will notice…

Sounds like you guys are on the right track. Having a wingman, even one less experienced is so helpful. One minor piece of advice is that I never comment or make fun of her name because chances are she's heard all the jokes before anyway.

You are in no way typical. You have identified that you have a problem, that you can do something about it, and you have asked for help. That is a seriously significant accomplishment that 90% of guys will never do. Most guys don't figure this out at thirteen, so I would curb that line of thought. At 13, a handful of guys figure out that they like girls and that girls like confidence and then they do whatever the fuck they want and become "naturals." You weren't one of them. Bad luck. Oh well. Y…

Thanks man. For the record, I take all the credit in the world for doing 4 approaches. I AM THE ONE PERCENT. And I also take credit for my improvement in my side of the conversation in my most recent approach. But in the interest of honest examination and self improvement, I don't want to assume my results were because I did everything right. There are certainly a million factors I can't control. I'd say the result was about 50% better game on my part and 50% luck of the draw. I don't want to ge…

If I'm dating a girl and not in a relationship, I don't have two dates planned. Because who knows if I'll want to see her again after the next date. Also I space the dates out by 1-2 weeks. That said if you don't want to the movies just text her and give her a real reason "not really excited for a movie this weekend" or "I don't really want to see this movie" or "I'd rather not spend the money".

"Hey do you think this guy sounds like Mr Mackey? Actually, you're really cute and I just wanted to stop and talk to you for a minute." Seriously though, I wouldn't get hung up on trying to make this work. You need to try to build a connection and actually talking to the girl is much more important than what you open with.

I agree. Avoid shopping unless it's something you would do anyway. You're job is to bring her into your world and show her how you have a good time. She should be having fun because you're having fun. That said, I don't really have a good suggestion for you. My plan is usually coffee at a location close to my place. That's harder for you for two reasons. I do think you want her to at least stop by your place. You're going to go there eventually for the having sex right?

They bring their relationships to college because there's no reason to break it off until a new option presents itself. Unless the BF is in the room just act like he doesn't exist. In general I wouldn't hang out with them more than once every 1.5 weeks or so or text more than every other day. This goes for someone I'm dating (but not in a relationship with) or someone I want to date.

No problem. Sounds like we are peas in the pod. We should totally hang out :) If I were to throw any other advice on the pile it would be: Be in charge. Pick the date venue, make the plans, bring her back to your place. Is the masculine half of the pair your job is to lead. Your world is awesome and you are letting her in on it. Make sure you are happy and having a good time first.

My experience with 2-sets: they increase approach anxiety, but the extra girl doesn't hurt that much, especially with a direct approach. 1) Usually the friend is excited or thinks its hilarious that the friend is being hit on. 2) I don't ignore the friend, but I also give most of the attention to the target. 3) Find out what they're up to. Decide if you are going to set up plans for later or try to do something immediately. Then make it happen. If they already had plans, the friend may get annoy…

Hi Manbear67. I also do not drink. And I was a virgin until I was 24. I've also taken a pickup class and I'll give you my number one takeaway: DO NOT APOLOGIZE FOR THINGS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU. I've give the "Why don't you drink" answer in basically every way: from jokes, to the honest detailed truth and everything in between. Girls (and all people, really) are like giant antennas. They pickup whatever you broadcast. If you act ashamed of yourself, they're going to be ashamed to be around yo…
