Going your own your way to me means more or less having a little to do with society as possible -- it's about letting go of what you used to hold dear and writing your own rules inside the confines of the society. What I mean is that I don't care about societal or political happenings, I wouldn't know what is going on outside of an economic perspective because I'm using the capitalist system to work hard to try and gain a better quality of life. I feel the men on MGTOW focus too much on what is …

MGTWO isn't a movement. It is simply a perspective on living an alternative lifestyle to mainstream ideals. I do agree with you that the men who constantly criticise women and who seem to have an axe-to-grind with women do offer ammunition to outsiders looking in. However, don't let those people put you off. MGTOW is about individualism. Going your own way means just that. I don't criticise women or make sweeping generalizations about them, because I don't care about them and I don't care about …

CNN was very pro-Clinton though if I am not mistaken? Trump should be commended for not back-tracking on his pledges. It's common in politics for politicians to sell their pledges to the masses only to fail to implement many of those pledges. All that matters is that the average, working American feels better off financially under a Trump government. If he's putting people into work, raising incomes and living standards then what more can Americans want? I do admire Trump I have to say; he's a w…

My interactions with women who aren't family members tends to be brief in length and minimal on detail. I don't socialize with women and tend to come across as cold and aloof in my interactions, so they think I'm rude and keep their distance. It's working a charm thus far and I'm very happy with this method.

That's a good thing and long may it continue.

I'm not from the US but he seems like another Obama. He is someone who promised his core supporters hope and change and like Obama, he'll have trouble delivering on his pledges because of the way the American political system is set up and because the elites of society will band together to ensure the status quo remains as it is. I don't engage with politics and I don't believe in society and its institutions. I only believe in individuals and families. This belief has enabled me to focus on wha…

That is pretty interesting because initially I thought it was a reaction to a series of events. Plus I hadn't heard of MGTOW until late 2015 and I left the dating circus in late 2011.

That's true my friend, but I was so angry for a long time because I had felt deceived. Thankfully I was never "in love" with any of these women, never was married or had children with them because I can only imagine the state I'd have been in.

It was originally reactionary. I was only on the dating scene for six years and it was soul destroying, I got hurt twice by two women I became close to and I finally woke up realized that I needed to work on myself as I was a broken mess and since then it has become a life style choice.

I don't want either of these things.

I'm pleased to hear that your Mom made it through that ordeal and you're right it is terrifying and I suspect this may have been largely preventable if people didn't overuse antibiotics.

It's becoming a global problem partially due to people consuming antibiotics on a regular basis. Pharmaceutical companies will need to invest in new forms of antibiotics because according to the World Health Organisation, antibiotic resistance is increasingly becoming a global problem.

It's not just happening in the US as antibiotic-resistant bugs are becoming a global problem.

There are a lot of men not on websites like reddit who are MGTOW. My best friend is also what you'd call a MGTOW. He is single (always has been) and occasionally has sex with a different woman and that's about as far as it goes with him. He is happy being single; he doesn't want a relationship, marriage or children.

They are and I played the first three games on the PS3 and I own the collection on the PS4. I will have to get around to playing Uncharted 2 again as that was my favorite PS3 game.

I own a PS4 and I'm enjoying Uncharted 4: A Thief's End at the moment. I've nearly finished it and it has been a blast to play through.

It's a good thing that I was shit with women and had very little experience when I opted out of the circus. However, the best feeling in the world is not caring about society in general. I just march to the beat of my own drum and I couldn't be happier.

There is an element within MGTOW that seems to delight in the misfortune of women, but whatever, I am not really interested in that aspect of MGTOW. Women are a non-entity, I am not bothered about them but I am bothered about passing on my knowledge to other men and that's the aspect of MGTOW that I focus on.

The blame here lies with men because men tend to see each other as a source of competition and therefore men are locked in this dog-eat-dog mentality. It's all about getting one over on each other. It's akin to a free market without any regulation. If men want these support groups then they need to unite together and create them. The government and women aren't going to do it, so it's down to men to do it.

I've been out of the dating game for six years and have yet to meet a woman that has made me want to be come back in the from the "cold". For me to even consider dating after this length of time (it's been nine years since my last relationship) then she will have to treat me as a prize, she'll have to take me on dates, spend the money and show me she is worthy of my commitment. She'll have to pursue me because I have zero interest in all of that stuff.

It wouldn't surprise me if the older women of society have woken up to the pitfalls of feminism. It's like what happened in Eastern Europe with the rise of Communism. Communism in theory seemed like a great idea and then it was implemented.

I don't care what other men do, it's every man for himself as far as I'm concerned. I quit dating, relationships and all of that stuff six years ago and I'm glad that I have stayed away as things seem to have got worse since late 2011.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
