She needs to move on because of the game he played and the disrespect. The console is a red herring but perhaps was what would kick her into reality. This is gaslighting and was a long con designed willfully to make her feel badly when the time came. Keep that $250 ring and lifetime of abuse, Scrote. I hope she listens to her gut and gets out. (Rescue mission maybe??)

They are definitely allowed. I used them a few years ago when I got my house, but my realtors were good and helped me write them/proofread them for me. Then, if a negotiation ensued they advised me on how to respond and proceed. It was a raging, raging market (even somehow worse now in my area that I can't even imagine. Houses gone in HOURS). This realtor is sabotaging OP and I don't know why. I think OP should can the entire agency and get a new one. There's nothing that says she can't.

You need a new realtor. This one is sabotaging you. I bought my own home as a single woman, and every realtor I worked with set me up for success (I had 3 offers accepted in a raging market - worse even than you described, bidding wars, waiving every single inspection and contingency, completely wild, and she even helped proof and advise on the letters I wrote). The letters don't have to be true, btw. Get yourself a better realtor and do some legwork yourself in finding open houses, etc. Don't l…

I don't think she has since she say she "has" a job, etc, speaking in present tense and "would be leaving". But, I agree. I would never leave even to make only 75K, never mind reduce my income by that much that's INSANE. Even with moderate 8% returns in 4-8 years she'd be past $1M if she'd saved it all instead. Just no, not worth it at all.

She's ignoring every single person in her life trying to warn her. Good her parents and all, all, of her friends trying to prevent the lifelong trap she has set for herself with this pedo/NVM/loser. She wants enabling but she's surrounded by good people, thank goodness. Now, sis, listen to them. Pickme blinders are a helluva drug.

Ohhh, I had this happen to me by also a lawyer when I worked retail (his "wife", idk if she really was, was in the dressing room and I was helping). Disgusting and vile. Don't mean to jump in, it just reminded me. You don't have to be a willing participant ever. I bet it's a million times worse for those who serve food/waitress, too.

Good. Stay away from us. Those are the negative of the negative value "men" I've ever seen. We want them to avoid us, Ladies. Trash takes itself out again, and hopefully very far away. I love when someone else does my work for me.

Tens of thousands of dollars a year in therapy, for the issues he caused and the ones uncovered from family that caused me to be involved with him. Nothing is covered adequately by insurance because of this country I live in. A lost career due to the PTSD of being with him and then leaving him. I had to switch. A lost year of not being able to work while recovering from physical and emotional effects of being assaulted AFTER I somehow got strong enough to leave. The entire ordeal has cost me muc…

The journey truly sucks if you don't orgasm. That's why I don't return. It's AWFUL. Luckily, most of the men in my area are taught correctly so it's so rare I actually remember those who are so bad at it, but d*amn it sticks out for sure. I actually used to have a rule of minimum 3 or no commitment for him.

Is this some geographical thing? I don't know any women who "fake orgasms", and I was told from a young age (14 or so) to never do this. Who actually does this? And how is this done? Color me very, very confused. It seems so counter productive, and this is actually what I was told. They will learn to do sex wrong. What is going on in this line of thinking. Is it religious? That women are "sinful" if they enjoy sex? I can't fathom. Feel free to send a link because I suspect it will be a long expl…

Yup. My experience is that they at least try, and the first few times they don't even try for their own orgasm. It's all about the lady because they want to show you they deserve you for the long haul. Pickmeisha me was giving them that chance to learn me "because women are all different and so complicated". BS. I'm literally there teaching them, so now it's one and done. You are correct!

Idk, four months? Height of pickmeisha me never gave oral first. Ever. I can't imagine going FOUR MONTHS without getting any in return. And if I didn't orgasm the second time together (generous me), I was gone. There is no third try. FDS me? First try. I guess she finally figured it out, though, so props. Finally.

Can you act like you're busy and didn't see his messages until you have time? Block off your calendar, etc? Take control of your time as much as you can and see if he backs off a little. I don't have other advice, but I know these Ladies will. Sorry you're dealing with this :(

Personally, I'd cut that person out of my life. No space for liars or whatever is going on with them causing such behavior. If they were a coworker and I couldn't, I would cease cooking for them and eating near them as much as possible. I would fully believe all future allergy sufferers, however. I've known too many, and have my own serious ones, to risk sending someone to the ER or their death (which is very common risk) and one liar doesn't make them all liars. In any past relationships, bf/SO's friends knew they'd be kicked out immediately (his place or mine), and he'd be SAT to think about his words and actions. I'd be gone while he was still sat and thinking. No way this would be tolerated. And you know those wayward bros of his would be calling to apologize and grovel. I had to do this recently with someone. The very first comment on your body, leave. Doesn't matter what it is, if it isn't glowing admiration and complimentary you leave. Even "You're beautiful but...." doesn't matter what follows. I don't care if your mind tells you it's true, social rules say he knows not to say it to you. He doesn't respect you. Leave.

100%. I think it tends to be minimized how awful pickmeishas are to HV women, and then we're left with only men as options for friends because the catty women won't socialize with you. We know that is a terrible choice. It sucks.

Yes, and make no mistake this is the first part of a multi-part strategy of his plan for revenge on her for trying to leave. It will be so dangerous, OP, if you stay. Please get out! He will suck you dry and kick you out when you have no where to go, blaming you for the fallout the entire way. Don't feel bad for him, don't fall for the act. He's just mirroring you. Couples in my area do this together, though usually they are hiring either a personal assistant or nanny (maybe both, I'm child-free). I'm a single woman who also doesn't do this as a child of an absent mother so I didn't learn, and when I lived with male roommates or couples we just hired someone to take care of the house stuff and split the cost. Women are reaching these earning levels in late 20s/early 30s so 40-50 men are way behind. Can't attract gold diggers if you're earning and saving less than the women you're trying to attract solely with money. You really need to reach 6 figures by 35 at the latest and even then, best of luck. Better be very good looking and HV if that's going to pull them in.

A very sweet, older HVM in my life explained it to me like this: We are shiny, golden chess pieces they can never truly have. Yes, and I hope things are changing, but OP is in a male-dominated field like I am. HR may laugh the scrotes' reports out if she's lucky, and believe you me they will spin it so she may not be. But, women who file against men doing this tend to lose their jobs. She needs to be careful. And, yes, you can have all the documentation to high heaven, the best lawyers every step of the way, it's not about that. Scrotes protect scrotes. Be careful. "Ew" is awesome, though.

Also, they "say" they are looking for a relationship. Good luck once you meet the disappointing-looking irl scrote and try to get anything beyond the mindgames/hookup attempts. That, or the other end of lovebombing, rush-"down-the-aisle" relationship to trap you into a relationship life-suck. Yuck and yikes. You don't want that, trust me.

I do love this, but be careful doing it at your workplace. I had one particularly gross scrote try to file an age-related report to HR (I think it got laughed away, but I didn't enjoy it). They're liars. I compliment my guy friends all the time, and in my community I see the women constantly giving out (deserved) compliments to the men more often than the women. Yet, it's always the men complaining. In my geographical area, we've made a conscience effort as women in the group to give them out to women more as a result. You know it will just mean it will be 50/50 since men always benefit but at least we'll get equal treatment. It makes no sense and is ridiculous.

I automatically say "what did you do to her/them?" When they tell me this. I'm not budging my actions based on his response (B+D), but I want it crystal clear I see through the bs and I'm on the women's side.

Nothing. I'm not coming not that you asked that. Block and Delete.

Can you state your standards without comparing to an ex? Even saying "I'm used to xyz" or "I expect xyz" is better than bringing up an ex. Bringing up exes should be a red flag for an HVM, too.

What to do? You move out. That is so yuck.

Please. She is struggling financially, see the subtext of what we have of what she wrote, while watching "bf" splurge on this other woman. Yeah, no. Rescue her please!

Straight facts. Every time their friends come crawling the second they find out you two broke up.

I'll try that. In this one instance, I wish I were bigger/looked older and more physically intimidating. Scowling might be the trick, though!

This. I won't make eye contact and do the whole walk-with-a-purpose-thing, but when I don't move out of the way they walk or run right into me when on the street. After a few, it hurts and then I have some decisions to make. I often do hate it here. I usually just don't leave my house during the day when I can help it. This pandemic has been wonderful, and I'm not at all ready for it to end.

This is fantastic advice. I do this for orbiters/satellite men constantly vying for attention in group and social settings ( you know the type, text you daily for years, harass you after you turn them down, create umpteen new numbers because you keep blocking, etc) and exes that remain in my activities or social circles. Eliminates the drama completely. Seems like it will work very well in these situations, too, and now I wonder why I never thought of it. Thank you!

I truly love that they think this works rather than is the obvious, desperate, woman repellant that it is. One tried to use "game" on me recently. I couldn't hide my disdain, and the look on his face when he saw was beautiful.

He was mirroring those traits to you. LVM are great at studying us and determining what we would find most desirable in a partner. They project a smoke and mirrors lens in the beginning of a new dating situation of a near-"perfect" partner that we, their target at the time, will find most appealing. They do this by studying social media, listening to what we say, observing us on "dates" or in social settings, etc. The traits you miss most are traits they mirrored from watching you. They may have…

Wow. My male friends are always telling me this, but it's so ingrained to worry for them that I still always would. Seeing it written here it's starting to sink in. Wild how much we're brainwashed. Thanks, Queen!

This is a really good point, and I'd like to add that a lot of them do this based on the connection/level of oxytocin they are feeling. If they feel close enough to project that we are emotionally invested in them, they will purposely play Devil's Advocate and even set up scenarios to gaslight our minds. Case in point: pre-FDS, and embarrassingly recently, I tried to set up a FWB situation (I know....). Thankfully it didn't work out, but I did need to return later to pick up some things before t…

I know some irl. QAnon conspiracy theorists in these particular cases. Somehow, those with different mindsets are trying to trick them and "take away their rights" or something (I did try to understand but failed).

I'd like to add, Queens, that any man trying to tear down your self esteem with gas lighting and mask dropping etc: you were in love with his mirroring of you. All those qualities you're having trouble getting past are qualities he mirrored from you. If your self esteem is suffering, and it might be if you're recovering (they do it to the best of us), remember that you aren't missing them. You're missing traits in yourself that you don't see but they did and they mirrored them back to you. Those…
