Well you can't really slim down by just working your abs, you have to lose weight overall mostly so it's more of a diet thing. I myself do keto/fasting most days at least. I do agree that sit-ups are not good tho. the channel i mentioned above has a lot of alternatives. I usually do planks with hollow body, reverse-sit-up (so just lying down and lifting your legs) or hmm not sure how to call it, but tucking in your belly and lifting your core and legs at a 70 degree angle or so.

I studied psychology and am really dissapointed at how unprofessional a lot of psychologists are. There are studies that prove that a lot of practices like proper cog-behavioral ones CAN help if applied properly. But just as many show that most practitioners just wing it all the fucking time and don't apply it properly. Anyway, I had a similar dissapointing experience with other therapists. Was thinking of going into the field, but really don't feel like it anymore because of it.

You just gotta try to lower your carbs overall and do more keto before trying fasting then. It gets a while for the body to ge tadapted to it. Also have some veggies and stuff and try to have good fats. Or if you REALLY want to get adapted fast, imo going carnivore is the best way. I can't really fast too long either so don't worry about it. I doubt I ever went to 100 hours, only been close to it at my longest. So yeah just take it slow it's not a sprint, it's marathon.
