2	College Major question It was actually worst time to graduate. No one seemed to be hiring recent collage graduates at that time. I found some part-time work in development to write code. The OOP class in school helped a lot for this job, along with all the class projects that was part of the program. 2	College Major question I majored in CIS - computer/management information systems, graduated in 2008. You can choose mutiple roles in the tech industry - Business system analyst, ScrumMaster, quality assurance, IT auditing, etc. I believe the most important thing you can do while in school for your career is to get an internship during summer. These internships will either convert to full-time positions or it will give you amazing edge over other students applying for full-time roles.
