Back then women were forced into marriages early even if they wanted to take the risk they couldn’t. They had no rights in that marriage and no means of a divorce. And Any marriage in any time period will suffer from the threat of either spouse having unlimited opportunity to cheat. Nice tldr

I never said those generalizations were irrational acting I said “they would be perfectly justified in that”. You quoted me it’s right there... You can only get parasites once you give them the opportunity. It’s part of adulthood to find out who is right and who is wrong. Women can easily say “I want it avoid men so I don’t get pumped and dumped or raped” or “once I hit the wall my man will cheat so I’ll just avoid them they drain me of my youth faster” and they would be totally justified in that. But there is a limit with these generalizations as they get irrational.
