Attraction is morally neutral & sadly that has applied well beyond dating, relationships and other more narrow personal interactions, to the severe detriment of humanity.

Honestly most men were lied to by parents to a degree, porn probably made it worse, but parents never gave most men the right playbook on desire and attraction. Until that is fixed by parents, a parental figure, mentor etc there is little hope, I say this as a parent.

The 2x post is pretty explanatory as to why and what that woman and some other women find attractive (it also seemed geographically and geopolitically specific) I am not sure what the mystery is here? I certainly can’t fathom what it has to do with makeup which is what this thread seems to have devolved into. Confidence is ironically in many instances nothing more than knowing you will be ok even if things go wrong. So if a woman rejects you, you’ll be ok.
