when you first meet a girl, you as a man are responsible for showing the initial attraction. youre into her and you have to let her know. thats why men are the ones commonly approaching after that, you keep your interest level slightly below hers. make her do the chasing, but dont push her away unnecessarily.

I would make it clear I'm dtf. I'd say something like "Sounds good we can get some drinks at xyz and then hang out at my place after." be confident, well groomed, well dressed and just approach the situation the same way as if you were already ripped. ive been overweight before and still am even though I lost a lot of weight. with the weight loss my facial features and just overall body was more pleasing to look at and tbh did help me open, but even when I was really fat in my head I am ripped and that mentality has helped me not care how I actually look weight-wise
