I think it’s incredibly stupid that we don’t recognize how bad men have it. Men deserve to be heard and feel safe too. Female rape victims are always believed (even when there isn’t enough evidence to back up their claims) whereas male victims are rarely believed and their attacker never faces penalty for the crime they committed. The double standard is insane. Now seeing the evidence in from of me it’s crazy how the news will highlight every attack against a woman to scare us and make us look m…

Ah, okay. Well at the end of the day you’re right. I wonder why media makes it seem like women are more victimized than men. So stupid

I don’t mean to be picky but did you copy and paste that second sentence from the Bureau of Justice’s webpage? That’s like exactly word for word what they have in their summary of findings.. According to that website though, you’re correct. I never would have thought men were victim to violent crimes more frequently than women do.

Could you please provide some evidence to support that? Maybe it’s just the news choosing to cover violent/sex crimes against women but it seems like from what I know that women are more likely targeted.

Tbh it’s terrifying on both ends of the spectrum. I don’t know how boys are doing it when girls are out here making false accusations. But as a female I’m scared to go out alone. So I see both sides. Even though I don’t take it out on all men I will feel very uncomfortable if a dude is too close. If that makes sense?? Like sometimes you can get a weird vibe off a person and be uncomfortable. That goes for both men and women because both genders have nut cases in them

Thank you, I appreciate it! More than you know haha. This woman in the post seems like a complete leech. She’s probably going to jump from minimum wage job to minimum wage job until some desperate enough guy takes her in and deals with her complete laziness.

I don’t mean to be inserting myself in this conversation like this, but although I don’t feel entitled to anything my husband gives me, I am a stay at home mother. So he’s our provider and he absolutely takes care of me. It was a mutual decision for me to stay home given the cost of daycare nowadays.. idk my point but I hope you do lol

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
