Go to a trade school and learn to be an electrician. If you're small, you can easily fit places bigger guys can't i.e. attics, crawl spaces. Small fingers and hands will make it easier for you to manipulate wires and connectors in tight spaces. Learn the job and do it well and you will be respected by co-workers. That's what a man does.

I realize you're just parroting something you heard somewhere, but that statement is so asinine it borders on retarded. No one is required to play the lottery, it's entirely voluntary. A TAX is levied by a government and is mandatory, failing to pay a tax results in some kind of punishment. Put a little thought into it next time

You need to get away from the huge multi unit new construction. I've worked in remodeling for 25 years now, the only women I deal with are sales at the lumber yard and reception at some of the subs. Those women are in those positions because the company is big enough that they have to make diversity numbers to keep the government off their backs.
