I'm so sorry I haven't responded in so long! I have been thinking about you. I just feel like I have no business giving advice-but I do have compassion and empathy. I'm curious: -What are your friends like? Are they good dudes/gals who are positive bros who will support you, steer, and assist with wing-man/femme duties? I don't have anything like that, I just dont seem to form friendships or close relationships for some reason. I think this support system is critical for all people, even those o…

not stupid questions at all. this is so hard for me too. Average looking is a-ok. Really. Tall, short, skinny guy, A+, and those bones are sweet! If you are failing at wrists, then you need to find the thing about your bod/mind (beard? deeeeeep voice? calm Canadian attitude? speak Esperanto? a secret dude crafter?) that makes you feel like a GD savant. Not to get Oprah on you, but what can you do to say I'm physically like this and I like this. HAWT. This guy I've had a crush on for so long has …

Oh, also, don't bartenders say, the last people hanging out at the bar WILL go home with each other to bone. It's just a waiting game- no magic or great looks/bod/accoutrement required. So, be prepared: condoms, clean sheets, uber app, don't drink too much, an exit strategy in the am, or breakfast fixins with a funk record if it goes well.

You're right- not every woman and certainly not every time. There are confounds: You aren't as awful as you think and yes, if the person is wearing headphones, having a shit day, feels about herself the way you feel about yourself, hung up on an ex, has had horrible bad experience in her past (I'd venture 100% of women)...it might not go like you'd hope. It also takes time to realize sometimes "he's asking me out and I missed it" or that the askee is thinking- wait, I do find him attractive and …

And honestly, this approach is WAY BETTER than the hottest, most attractive dude out there-the guy that is straightforward gets it done bc all the other guys cant even show up to the game

Just. Ask. Me/Her/Him. Out. Just be an adult male, with confidence, "hey, I'm Mike, Matt, Rob...Want to get coffee?" I really can't stand the wishywashy ness and the texting nonsense and just want to be asked out straightforwardly (i try this-rarely it doesnt work but I think that's a generational issue each of us created and have to deal with the texting/fuckboi nonsense consequences)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
