Good point. If you're not being strategic and managing your life well, failures will hurt you a lot more. IDGAF attitudes with jobs/women/etc is for guys who already know what they are doing and where they are going in life because they've built up a strong physical and mental foundation.

Your thinking is faulty in applying things in too broad a context. Life's variables aren't so simple as to have universal premises apply to everything. There's people who have never worked in their lives and did not need to apply themselves because they got lucky and won the lottery or married a rich guy (in the case of women). That doesn't mean you shouldn't try to apply yourself, read books, self-improve, start your own business, etc. because you're most likely not going to win the mega-millio…

Yet my mom has never and will never cheat even though their relationship is all but over. No offense but how do you know this? You do follow her everywhere 24/7 and have a GPS tracking unit on her? In reality she could be getting her holes filled after work by a boss or coworker and you'd be none the wiser.

Non-white person here. Because in addition to sex differences, there are also racial differences, especially in terms of intelligence. Some groups are just incapable of rising to a certain level.
