If you are guy who tries to intercede and cheer up unattractive woman you get shit on a ton too. I think a lot of people forget they even exist so they don't see themselves as being on the wrong.

People overlook how terribly plus-sized people were and still are treated day to day, to the point where requesting others to provide a modicum of respect was seen as too imposing. Go on Twitter and you can easily find people hoping that Ozempic gets rid of all of them as if it were a pest... and then complaining about not knowing what's in the things we consume day to day. Sacrifice so we don't have to bear looking at you. Also fat women became public enemy #1 in most manosphere spaces from my …

Ngl if I worked my ass off all day and my wife just sat her ass at home doing nothing I'd be pissed. Not sure why rightoids love this concept unless they don't know the value of labor themselves. (I would help in the housechores too, not that house labor is meaningless)

Now, my take is entirely defined by my experience as a man. But as someone who doesn't find the archetype of the average skinny woman attractive (won't go too much into detail, but I am straight. Then again saying "skinny" is a giveaway haha) my desire for most women is indeed "responsive" in that I ought to get to know them better. I find women whom I can click right away in terms of looks very sparingly, and in most cases I have found that the way I approach dating seems to resemble what women…

what thats just casual misogynoir 💀
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/25 01:11 AM

My preposition is rather simple: the average man might have his vision of how well they will do in finding a partner shaped by seeing the other men in past generations land a family and think that will be their baseline. It's not. Our gender value had been artificially inflated by the motives I mentioned beforehand, and the inability to compromise with their expectations and reality is the cradle of much vitrol that accompanies the inceldom movement. The point you are missing is that I think thi…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/25 01:19 PM

We are debating over different spheres. I explained why dating would never reach a true equilibrium (due to biological causes) and how those motives can be found reberberating in our societies, but you are debating nation-building which is another whole can of worms. The average man doesn't want to perform a massive reorganization of society just to find success. They just want to be happy at an individual level.

Wait, it's prominent enough women are noticing it? Huh. I guess I should give more credit to other guys, never thought we would manage to outnumber the overly desperate ones lol

If we analyze it from a blunt biological dynamic, there never has been anything that men hold over women. A great deal of success stemmed from male populations being culled due to the ebb flow of a violent past or due to being able to prove themselves in positions of power. We aren't inherently awarded value sexually, because ours genitals and what they produce are built with quantity over quality. What most societies had in the past is leveraging the social power men held to bridge said "sexual…

It has never been fair, as much we wish it were. Men got the shorter end of the stick in terms of dating dynamics (way before we could understand them), even if we got ahead in other areas. A part of maturing is understanding that sadly you won't get anything or will have to fight more for it than one should. You are allowed to have any emotion from it at first, but one must admit it.

We need to shame men for consuming prostitution actually, and I say this as a guy. There's no good reason why you are so horny that you are willing to concede your month's efforts financially to someone whose only trait was being of the opposite gender. A lot of our problems are that we are encouraged to do anything, ANYTHING, to get laid and that hurts our overall value as a gender alone. Simp-shaming goes without question too.

Men just realized what women had realized long ago (they learnt to distance themselves from harmful men since they had been under their pressure for way longer): one can lead a life without needing the other It's simple as that.

...so that only benefits my point more? Their struggle was even greater when accounting for the dynamics they sought to change, while ours in this case wouldn't neccessarily be detrimental to our basic needs. Just opting out of what doesn't benefit us. Point is, the average addicted guy would get more out of this and working towards something (even if it hurts to admit) than remain shielded in addiction or begging without results.

I mean irl I definetly agree, that's how things work. I was discussing things more theoretically, like if we did X then it would change as a whole. But it would be hard to pull off since we don't have the same "gender cohesion" women have.

Ignore the other guy who mentioned Donald Trump. I really dislike traditional gender roles because of the pressures they place in both genders in benefit of their position in the social hierarchy - patriarchy, or whatever term is better used nowadays. My opinion is that as men we can learn a lot about how women organize: that is, they bothered to do so in the first place. The average incel online seems to more or less want women to continue doing everything for him, and that apparently even seem…

Funnily enough I have the exact opposite take lol but for unexpected reasons. Personally I believe that men being willing to spend their hardly earnt resources for sex is just one of the ways in how we devalue ourselves compared to women - we state their worth relative to ours by not knowing to moderate our impulses (not mine, but as a whole). See the woman who fucked a thousand guys: she was validated that she was indeed worth a thousand men... by men who participated. I see myself agreeing wit…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 09:09 PM

That's all very true. I think OP's point is less that it will completly flip the script, because there are some undeniable differences in how both genders perceive sex, but that it would make so those efforts are less in vain.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 09:06 PM
1

I usually agree with you whenever I read your takes (they got a good dose of reality) but this isn't it. We can do rational things even if it feels unintuitive short term - assuming the opposite is stating that either women need to deal with it against their wishes (wrong) or that men's loneliness is unfixable, which is also pointless.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 09:04 PM
-2

You do it anyways. Women didn't get their social position just giving up or wanting men to concede it to them in our benevolence. They put in the effort even if it meant stepping out of their comfort zone. Tell the most porn addicted guys to mature for once and work towards a common goal. Nothing comes for free.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 09:01 PM

As a guy it gets tiring because all of the qualms we have about the dating inbalance would be fixed if we agreed to get together to change this - even more, there's the boon of not demanding other people change it but being able to do it ourselves how we please. It's even funnier because the same who think its pointless don't really get anywhere continuing to beg, so they are really doing the same but in the least benefitial way possible.

Being a sapient species (which came into being as such in a relatively small swathe of time) means that both of our predilections at a biological and sentient level aren't synchronized.

I mean I agree, although my standing has always been "they are hot and get liked as a result DESPITE the crimes" rather than "they are hot because of the crimes". Even if there's a component to it most could be attributed to them being part of a bigger audience now. Still, acting shitty is not gonna help you much alone if you don't have the looks for it to begin with (black vs redpill? Anyways). In my case it wasn't even being actively shitty, just not being there for them at all times.

It also boils down to our sexual gametes being easily replenishable and not posing a risk during their production (we don't get periods or the negatives of pregnancy). There are little barriers biology-wise that makes us think twice, and a lot of it needs to come from properly thinking about things which sadly a lot of guys seem to fall at.

A lot of advice is aimed at supressing reading personal cues. I struggled a lot with it myself, and I suspect that the reason why the redpill has strong pull over less socially-aware men (which I am/was part of) is because it skips over that by implying it's more of a math equation rather than sociology.

This is where a lot of content is lost from just typing messages imo. For me it was the same, but because my baseline was bending over backwards to get them interested versus showing more regard for myself in simple forms (i.e. taking longer to answer, not being available). Compared to being a servant, I did treat them "shittier". But you skim over that in the internet and think OP got to beating women or something. "Hybristophilia"

I hate when someone brings compelling information about biology but then forgets the human bit (not you, the guy who you replied to). Yes, at a larger scale the distribution of reproductive organs shapes the dynamic, but in a 1:1 case personal preferences and emotion take preference. Feeling uncomfortable for the sake of it is a thing, defined by our previous experiences.

Do you really believe we made it so far as a species with half of us deriving nearly zero pleasure from sex? The main difference is that women don't get to voice it as much as guys do for obvious reasons, nor they tend to (I can admit there's a lower threshold for what can excite a guy versus the oppossite) but it still exists. But when you see it from your own lense of not announcing it to the world continously, it seems like lying.

I have a quick question (neither supporting or dismissing your claim) How does the red pill account for fetishes? Because even if you say that it's a slim margin and the average men/women shouldn't count on that to find a partner, I have always felt alienated by the ideology when saying that men like "10/10s" for ingrained reasons when it has never been the case for me. So it stands to reason that the opposite is also true. Are we just sick?

No one is loved unconditionally, even love arises from particular traits that need to be upkept to be "loveable" to a particular someone (whetever you realize it or not). However we mostly agree that there's a difference between using someone and genuinely loving them because of the honesty of the feeling.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/25 03:45 PM

Personally I don't think women are innately better at emotion than men are, or any other patronizing trait, but: if youe statement is true, then how come the same ideology also believes they are to be trusted with taking care of a family long term? Or is the whole point to keep the guy always fearing by focusing more on other "high value men" in the vecinity rather than his own partner?

I was never picky with food, but whenever I don't have the time to explain my motives it may seem that way. Also don't wanna play into stereotypes here (correct me if I am wrong) but not sure if scandinavians are as social when it comes to food, where I am from we share a lot when dining - and its always wheat derived. Sometimes I wonder how much of my experience is truly manhood or just my restrictions making dating seem harder than they would be. Still as a guy there's the association that unless you have a good medical excuse (and as you probably know even then you aren't taken seriously at times) you are just weaker because of the provider thing.

The MLE is just the result of a society with a practical 50:50 gender distribution (men didn't use to make it as long as woman) and the artificial value of men via literally preventing women from doing things dissapeared. It's closer to nature than whatever the last 500 years of sexism have been. However this means that the average guy doesn't have much value if at all. Realistically the solution would be for us to increase it via recognizing and expanding what little worth we have, but there's …

The eagerness men have to purchase sex work is one of the main things damaging our value - you can see it as recently in the OF challenges. What we say as a collective when a thousand guys sign up for them is that the simple allure of sex from a woman is worth a thousand men - or that a man as a single person is practically worthless. Apart from the obvious ethical implications - the less we give in and purchase sex/affection, the better.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/25 04:02 PM

Until recently a lot of nomadic desert societies were matriarchal because the men spent most of their time outside the tribe foraging and searching for new spots, so women had to take care of their society at home.

True, but OP has a good point in that if we want that to change we should tell the guys who do that to stop it instead of women. It's hard to blame someone getting stuff for free if they are being constantly gifted it. Go towards the one giving the gifts.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/25 11:26 AM

Definetly agree (minus the last bit lol we don't have to get together with other men) Not sure why everyone on this subreddit treats male attraction towards women as an unchangeable, untrestable thing we cannot exert control over. If we started recognizing our worth more like OP mentioned there could be a lot of change in the complaints of the average male user here - but a lot don't care about changing that mindset it seems. Women didn't get things for free either you know, they organized too.

Seems right to me. That's why it's up to us to understand our own worth and withdraw it when needed, because as a sexual species it's really loopsided and obvious who needs each other more. And sadly it isn't us, as androcentric as we are.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 06:21 PM
1

There's no problem for me really. As long as there's anyone willing to provide there will be people requesting it. In any case a guy should consider if what he's willing to give away is truly worth it knowing his sense of self-worth. But there aren't "low" and "high" value people. Just those who set their tolerance for self-sacrifice higher or lower and others who react based on it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 06:15 PM
2

Irl there's probably an unbalance in real settings where yeah being a piece of shit can get you far. Sorry but it's the truth. What matters is respecting people because you truly believe in it. If you aren't misogynistic because it "helps you" then you are still misogynistic. It doesn't matter if it's true or not, because the terms are poorly defined.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 06:01 PM
1

Also honestly how much of their ideology can be shown in an outing? You can be passively sexist (which a good chunk of a society is) or progressive and get laid without neither of them being ever brought up during a ONS lets say. More like they are attractive, get laid with minimal effort, and it reinforces their bias. But in any case it's "hot men get laid more than ugly men" which yeah no shit

Well that's not the case anymore so it's up to us to reevaluate how much effort we have to put in the social contract (and no, society won't collapse). But it's not women's fault for not bothering to upkeep an archaic position that doesn't benefit them.

This is a really utilitarian way to see women's rights (which is why when it comes to political discussion I don't endorse it) but reality is that the more progressive a country is the easier dating is for men. It removes the "risk" factor which is huge for women but not as much for men, who sometimes forget about its existence. If you look at more conservative places that some guys love you will see that men have to be providers or constantly looking over their shoulder even in casual settings.…

This is the truth lol. I have always said that the current situation is just the best "equilibrium" because while women organized and put in the effort for their own change however we don't seem to be able to do the same for whatever reason. Yeah but as long as there's enough people on it that's a noticeable trend it would be enough. OP isn't asking for some sort of celibacy vote (I hope, otherwise it would be weird) but just a mindset change.

Probably could have worded it better, but I agree. I am tired of the same chain of posts of guys asking for women to change or do more things for us, when we have our very own ability to cause chings to transform at a wider scale too. For men the main hurdle is to appear in someone's elses radar to begin with, when it comes to being considered a partner not having good looks may cause someone to never regard you as an option (works for both genders before anyone states the obvious). It's really not appealing to everyone, just appealing to something trustworthy we can derive experience from since we deal with it ourselves: attractiveness.

Punishing people is stupid. I just meant that usually in these discussions is all about women having to do something instead of guys using our own value to do something.

We just need to get together and agree to back out of them for a while so there's an incentive for the developers to make them benefitial for us. A lot of them seem convinced that if they continue swiping right they will get lucky today though.

This is my ideology as a guy and I really hope that it catches on for more guys. A lot of them go the wrong way and try to coerce women into attention, when in reality we should be the ones limiting how we give our attention so liberally. Never understood why they skim over this possibility as if it's the "default" for us to be doing everything in our power to gain attention. Teach guys to respect themselves, to not see things where there aren't and spend a lot of effort into nothing and that it…

I am into unconventionally attractive (or conventionally unattractive? you get the idea) woman and it's the same. /r/PurplePillDebate06/06/25 12:23 AM

We guys just gift too much attention in these sort of online settings sometimes, in reality being more discrete about it would indeed help us - and it's not that big of an ask because we are literally telling people to do less not more. Problem is that a lot of guys don't understand their own value enough. Most solutions are on what we need to teach ourselves, since only guys can understand other guys fully.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/25 12:20 AM

Ironically enough for a lot of people admitting it just refers to the later would help them better. Wanting intimacy is not something to be ashamed of.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/25 12:16 AM

Agree regardless of the wording. Truth is that being a guy is the harder gender in terms of finding relationships - our value is born out of how well we achieve certain traits rather than being a given baseline. It sucks to hear but it's not the worst thing in the world per se. The main problem is how many insist that there must be some sort of fairness, some way for everyone to get what they want in the end. There's none. It's not good or bad, it just is. There has never been a time where men r…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/25 12:12 AM

Completly agree with this. For as much talk as there's about "high value" and "low value" people the truth is that the value of the average man had been artificially inflated by social considerations such as these that date far back into the past. I wouldn't be surprised if we turn out to be the first generation to have a significant cohort of men who just never married due to just not being good enough anymore. Now whatever criteria you use to define who's "good enough" depends on whatever spra…

They were all on the same page because the community pretty much never had any female influence on it (and trust me, I love all-male spaces as much as the other guys but nowadays you need some overlap otherwise nasty things begin showing up). Once they realized they were politically powerful to enact change they flipped the script because the notion that women = object was already a thing anyways.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/25 03:29 AM

I think that a lot of rhetoric is founded of wanting to fullfill inmediate sexual desires (especially when accounting for the age of the average redpiller) and that's just not enough longterm. A lot of them probably realize it midway through, but it's easier to keep getting angry to distract oneself if the community around one already supports it.

A lot of those things still work because guys are willing to provide all the benefits in dating just to have a chance. It doesn't meant that is "unfair" because societal standing and dating don't necessarily have to overlap. A lot of things are less on women taking advantage of men and rather guys being willing to basically do anything. That's a pattern I see on this subreddit a lot. It seems to treat that guys gifting women attention is an unchangeable trait and women should just ignore it. Why…

I agree but honestly I don't care much about these online terms that will never figure on a dictionary. Same for guys using the term when they are just pissed at times but can find success if they tried.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 02:14 AM
2

The only thing femcels and incels got in common is the suffix. Loneliness is not gonna be the same when accounting for the gender divide, so their arguments/act of violence will be different. The "femcels" you talk about are actually women who have had one or several bad experiences with men and rant online, so they are disqualified by default from the term.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/25 02:11 AM
16

As a "normie" guy the thing is that femcels just don't exist in the public sphere. Incels put themselves more out there (ironically) so for anyone outside of the pill loop they just see angry guys chanting about raping women, but never see femcels with their own ideologies. This also relates to most dating content being male centric even today in the public consciousness. For example after Adolescence pretty much all middle income+ households have a nebolous idea of "incel" but there's no equiva…

As a guy I agree we could do better (I personally do! I love my friends) but there are some discrepancies between genders that just cannot be fixed 1:1. I have seen some suggest that men cuddle like women do for their lack of physical intimacy and that's just missing the mark and a bit of r/badmaleanatomy lol. We have, at some points, different needs and different approaches.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/25 07:51 PM
1

I am on the other side and I agree. A lot of issues in this subreddit would be fixed if guys just realized that not everyone gets lucky - men have to work harder for companionship but no one is entitled to anything. It sucks but you cannot guarantee love. Reality doesn't care if you find a partner or not, that's up to you.

Why do anything then? Why put effort into things? Why not just succumb to the inevitable march of entropy? People want to do good at times because it's hardwired into us as social species. It's not always gonna work out, but being willing to face of the worst vulnerabilities of all (pouring your heart into something and being rejected) is one of the main emotional problems humanity has always faced, endured and overcomed at an individual level.

The biggest lie is generational. Not "society was better a century ago when women were treated like shit!" but historically wayyy back. For as much as red pillers talk about "hoeflation" or whatever that crap is, the truth is that the value of the average guy was artifically inflated. Or you can look at this comment section and find a similar ratio lol, 75% of men would be willing to give it a pass. I have never been strongly influenced by the red pill but I was usually able to look at the larger picture once independence was in the table for everyone, i.e after high school. If anything knowing that both genders are equal let me understand that there's no reason why I should overlook flaws others wouldn't overlook on me if they were reasonable - being aimless is one of them.

I expect my partner to put a similar effort into their life as I do (assuming the person you described is full body abled). Even if I love them with my heart there would be a wide gap when it comes to what we got in common that turn things boring. Guys who say "yeah sure whatever" usually tend to steongly want some form of affection (can't blame them for that) or just interested in sex where having quite a power inbalance between partners becomes lowkey weird ngl.

Honestly I believe (or would like to) that most people have an awareness that both genders share their struggles, which is simply a byproduct of being out and about and getting to interact with more people. What I see from a lot of other guys is that they solely focus on the advantages women have in terms of dating (which, albeit simply analyzing our age bracket and with lots of caveats, holds generally true) and want to even out the playing field in the worst ways possible. I mean yeah there will always be guides, I can write one if I want. Doesn't mean it will be good. Sure have that discussion, but the end result is always gonna be that if you are THAT online that comments hurt you there's a wider social issue at play (this is in fact true). The basic guides that are genuinely true need to be backed up by some semblance of scientific data, and I mean rigorous studies (if you ever managed to run an hypothesis on the redpill) if you wanna define something about human behaviour. A lot of the issues with the redpill stuff is that it's extremely overstretched over what grounds it can cover. A dating app is an unbalanced scenario where women decide everything? True, sampling data backs this up. But it stops being logical once you get to the real world. There's no guide to help determine it in the same way you don't have a "live best life ever" cheatcode. Why is everyone so shocked that... women have more options than men? This has been the case forever??? I think people forget we are rational beings a lot. The entire stuff about sperm amount might be impactful at some deep, subconscious evolutive level but if you have to reach there to improve your dating chances you are better off understanding more latent social contexts first.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 12:14 AM

A lot of advice is just about the starting level. Yes ideally looking like a 10/10 would cut most of the effort of reading bodily and social cues off, but that's just not true for pretty much no one barring actors. There's a lot of allergy to trial and error in here that is mixed with trying to understand how people actually behave. If the average guy or gal was running all of these calculations about if the other person is "high value" or "low value" we would have gone extinct long ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 12:11 AM

Personality alone might not get someone attracted to you but it can make someone UNATTRACTED to you. A lot of incels are relatively good looking but no one wants to be with a potential murderer as their partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 12:05 AM

As a guy I can also recognize that. The difference probably originates from the average man not being as directly impacted by policies as women are, especially when you consider how certain sectors are treated as "political" by default even though they try to live like everyone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:01 PM

I think it's mostly that conservative women won't get in with leftist men but the oppossite is not true. Guys on average aren't as concerned.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 07:07 PM
8

I think it also has to do with the approach right wing women take to dating as well: a lot just get married early on due to religious tradition. For others there's just a bigger adoption of leftist policies (that makes them left wing in comparison to men) by neccesity (women's rights).

Could it be because there are a lot more right wing men than there are right wing women also? Noted it as well lol. It's a meme that reappears in my Twitter feed every once in a while.

Checks out. A lot of guys want their partners to be dominant/proactive at times so if logic follows the same would also apply in reverse. Honestly idk if using this 1:1 logic is true but it makes life and dating easier for me.

Agree with you there.

By nature the best a man can be involves not being 100% alpha. There's a bit of yang in the ying and all that.

Lowkey respect that. A solid belief system you trust in is always a good thing.

Partially agree. I keep trying to improve myself because I understand that the realization I have when I see others and realize I need to shape up is gonna happen anyways (just later on the future by myself and with even less time). But a lot of guys just go insane over reshaping themselves over getting a partner. Who the hell smashes their head in with a hammer to get a better jawline?

Point B shocks me. Now I haven't looked too deep into the study but what do you mean one third of guys say that they can imagine themselves raping someone?

Hey now even if both are scary as fuck the truth is that they cannot compare because of how much time it takes. Making a claim against a guy needs to go through several hurdles to have a lawyer pick it up, whereas you can get raped/killed in the moment.

I am as progressive as they get but, going off anecdotical evidence, I know a guy who was going to be accused of rape after an one night stand. Now I don't know if it was a case of telephone game where he did indeed do stuff worthy of a claim (but was relayed to me by guys wanting to spin it) but he was scared shitless for something he claimed hadn't done. I don't remember why she wanted to accuse him though.

MGTOW has a terminally bad reputation and for good reason honestly. At this stage they should reboot it with heavy moderation to avoid incel crap sweeping inside, r/bropill is sort of a good guideline.

Yeah I agree 4B and MGTOW are different things. MGTOW sounds more optional in that you do it in order to focus on yourself, but you could hop in and out of it without having repercussions versus getting married without having good rights to back it up. And as for your last paragraph I agree. I had to accept that dating/relationships just weren't gonna happen to me due to a multitude of factors and rebuild my life around it. No point in being mad forever, adults accept the truth and move on.

4B has more legitimacy in that it's trying to produce civil change at some level so it has an objective goal that can be written down - especially in the countries where it is most prominent in order to "reform the law". MGTOW was always more tailored for social issues and was meant to be a space for exchanging experiences about trying to separate from dating in order to improve oneself, but not society as a whole. It's an individualistic group by nature, which is not wrong but they are entirely…

Exactly. No shit, male attention is dirt cheap. We are supposed to be the ones taking the lead and you can probably ask a random guy online and he will joke about having no standards. Personally I disagree with those jokes, but it's the truth. Getting the same degree of easy contact for a guy from the other gender is impossible simply because of how social dynamics are set up. It's not good or bad, just is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
