DHV to the bartender. Remember, DHV's have more meaning when they aren't seen as attempts at DHV. If you are chatting with the bartender about your life or whatever, everyone around you will overhear it. Of course, this means non-sexual DHV's only, and must be sure not to talk too much to a busy bartender and have a one-sided conversation. You're going for "interesting new guy in the bar", not "guy so boring, the bartender isn't even listening to him".

The title alone implies a presumptive stance on approach, that you have to be careful not to let overtake your strategic thinking. If you don't know them, how do you know what constitutes their "bitch shield" or whether it is even "up"? If you mean how to overcome someone's natural resistance to meeting someone new in an environment where they are bombarded with attention, its probably by being different enough in a positive way that is memorable and not repetitive. The best first step is to do …

Yeah, its nothing to dwell over for too long. Usually, two texts in a row trying to invoke a reply raise a flag, where waiting a day and sending a humorous or positive note can be better. One thing I've noticed reading a lot of archived posts, is that it seems a lot of guys telegraph desperation in their attempts at humor. In other words, they laugh and joke about getting together, or being too much man for her, etc.. I guess this is the "cocky and funny" approach of David D'Angelo from way, way…

I look at it this way. If her mental state after text #2 existed after text #1, she would have never replied to it. What we don’t know is why she replied to #1. Could be anything as innocent as politeness, to some lingering interest that could be stoked, and she seriously just wanted to eat first. Because we don’t know, we want to be cautious, because there are several possible “mismatches”, where what we text really doesn’t work with a mindset. Without seeing her exact text in reply (“can’t jus…

The best one is the one you don't read, because NLP is considered bunk by all reputable scientists. Instead, read up on operant conditioning, classical conditioning, behavior modification. Then narrow it from there.

I would say do nothing for awhile. Your self-evaluations are possibly way out of adjustment right now, and you need to have good self-awareness and perception to affect how others see you. Divorce can make some people over-value themselves, and others under-value, it just really depends on personality.

She's gone, forget about her. That may have been salvageable after the first text, because she did respond with a clarifying statement. Her silence could have been to draw out your second text, and it worked. Seriously, this one is over and not recoverable.

I'd say "go for it! Here's hoping that its his chalk outline on the ground and not yours."

You may be revealing too much of yourself too quickly. Often, when we know nothing about someone, we assume the 90% we don't know is like the 10% we know, so if you slowly say positive or attractive things, over time you will build longer-term interest. If you play all your cards quickly, she will say "hmm, thats all there is to this guy?" and move on.

I swear these silly night game arguments are like crap shoots, and depend so much on how someone implements what they hear. The whole "get a fun vibe and laid back feel" would make some guys look like complete toolbags. Other guys would do better with "look like a super serious serial killer not interested in anyone" and it would work for them. The key is not acting out of your own comfort zone, because its obvious when that's happening.

Yes and no. From attracted to unattracted, yes, when they perceive probability of meeting someone better as increasing. From unattracted to attracted, no. Increases in attractiveness only occur rapidly when they are due to a narrowing of options above you.

The basic element that varies across your questions is whether seduction is viewed as a transient state created to increase odds of specific outcomes, or a more permanent change in someone's view toward you. The latter is more difficult, and more powerful, but also involves the goals of the other person. Reseduction presumes an initial seduction failed. If the first seduction was outcome based, a second seduction is very unlikely to succeed, because the other person's goal state is no longer ide…
