Thanks for this post. Hits close to home. It's really easy to get into the mentality of trying to be the "perfect SO", and not stepping back and thinking about what that actually means. You feel good about cooking dinner, being super accommodating for dates, being her emotional rock, etc. because that's what logically makes sense in terms of what defines a "good" SO.
